Chapter 109 Young Master Fufeng

Xu Mo pushed open the door and saw a slender, pale boy lying on his side on the ground, his outstretched hand pointing towards the door, as if he wanted to weakly grasp something, but gave up because he was powerless.

Everyone was shocked and a sense of sorrow welled up inside them.

Xu Mo reacted the fastest, rushing over to pick him up, just like Zheng Ruqian and Jiang Sheng had helped him up when both his legs were broken. "Xiao Si, Xiao Si, come quick."

Wen Zhiyun dared not panic or hesitate. He threw down his small medicine box and rushed over to take her pulse, check her eyelids, and examine her breathing.

Fang Heng and Zheng Ruqian opened all the doors and windows wide to facilitate air circulation.

Chang Yan and Jiang Sheng squatted down on either side of each other, not daring to breathe loudly, for fear of frightening their brother who was as beautiful as glass.

About the time it takes to drink a cup of tea.

With trembling hands, Wen Zhiyun picked up the silver needle and plunged it into Wang Fufeng's middle finger.

When it was pulled out again, a stream of black blood gushed out, and the pale, almost transparent boy slowly opened his eyes.

"You..." He vaguely thought he was dead, "Are you here to take me away?"

Zheng Ruqian leaned his big head closer, "Young Master Wang, you can come with us if you want."

It's bad enough that the doors and windows are closed, but then a gray cloth is hung up to block out the light. Even a healthy, lively person would suffocate in this room, let alone a sickly young master who was born weak.

"It's you..." Wang Fufeng remembered, "...that cousin's friend?"

So he didn't die. Who were those people around him? And who was holding him?

"My name is Xu Mo." Xu Mo said succinctly, "Thank you for your investigation. Sun Yu is down."

Wang Fufeng was taken aback for a moment, then quickly smiled, revealing a faint dimple on the right corner of his mouth.

It turns out this was the person who brought the light.

It was he who completed his meticulously planned scheme.

"We heard you were imprisoned by the Wang family, so we came here," Xu Mo said again.

The dimples at the corners of Wang Fufeng's mouth disappeared. He lowered his thick eyelashes and sighed softly, "My body is just a burden to me. I might as well leave like this. I'm just troubling you all."

It's clear that he has lost the will to live.

No matter how skilled a doctor is, they cannot save someone who is determined to die.

Wen Zhiyun was a little anxious, but she was bad at talking, so she could only hold his hand and anxiously ask for help from both sides.

Changyan sensed his fourth brother's anxiety, abruptly stood up, and said firmly, "You're just going to leave like this? You coward!"

Everyone was taken aback.

“Wang Fufeng, you are the legitimate son of the main wife, the only hope of the Wang family. Why don’t you live well and take charge of the Wang family? Are you planning to let the Sun family swallow you up, or let Wang Mingyu bring down the Wang family? Or are you planning to let other illegitimate bloodlines order the Wang family? What is rightfully yours should be yours. Why should others covet it? Why should you die peacefully in a corner while others laugh with glee? Can’t you have any ambition? It’s not just your body that’s sick, but your mind too. You are a useless piece of trash. I despise you.”

After speaking, Chang Yan's cheeks flushed slightly, and he was panting heavily.

Fang Heng, standing nearby, frowned, secretly thinking that he should train his fifth brother; his physical fitness was rather poor.

The others, however, were speechless with astonishment.

Wang Fufeng, in particular, stared intently at Chang Yan, as if trying to see through him, or perhaps as if he were seeing through half of his own life.

A frail body, indifferent parents, and a Wang family embroiled in internal strife.

Everything was consuming his will to live.

Even though the doctor said he could live to be twenty, he almost died at the age of fourteen.

Six years... is actually quite precious.

Do I love this world? I must. Otherwise, why would I want to take one last look at the sunlight and the icy blue sky before I leave?

Sometimes Wang Fufeng couldn't help but think that if he had lived in a loving family with his mother taking good care of him, he might have lived to his twenties or thirties.

Even if the King of Hell came looking for him, he would cling tightly to his parents' hands and refuse to let go.

"Haha..." Wang Fufeng suddenly closed his eyes and laughed.

Laugh at yourself for wanting but not getting it, laugh at yourself for foolishly giving up your life for them.

What does six years matter? As long as I can live, and take a good look at this world, see the flowers in full bloom, see the warm sunshine, see the gentle breeze and the peaceful rain, and see the snow and ice.

After a long while, he stopped laughing, calmly opened his eyes, and said, "Fine, I'll live."

No one can restrain a handsome, intelligent, and insightful young man except himself.

When he decided to live for himself, the world opened its arms to him.

Given that the Wang family villa was too remote and simple, Xu Mo, with Wang Fufeng's consent, disguised himself and brought him back to the Zanhua Courtyard.

Wen Zhiyun carefully diagnosed his illness and helped him recuperate.

In just three to five days, Wang Fufeng's body went from thin to transparent, regaining some of its human-like feeling. His hands and feet regained warmth, and his lips regained color.

The siblings were all quite happy, especially Jiang Sheng. When she first entered the Wang family's villa, she thought that her brother Fufeng was gone and was ready to shed tears, but then she opened her eyes again.

This feeling is like Uncle Zhu's dog was about to die, and the family had already dug the grave and were about to bury it when the dog suddenly barked twice.

I was surprised, delighted, and a little scared.

When Wang Fufeng's lips regained some color, though still pale, Jiang Sheng dared to cautiously approach him and casually ask if he wanted some hawthorn cake.

In the past few days, Wang Fufeng has also gained a preliminary understanding of the six siblings living in the Zanhua Courtyard.

Xu Mo's excellence goes without saying; he even managed to get the next governor of Anshui County replaced by someone else, all because of a long-standing old case.
