Chapter 11 The First Deal

Without a word, the middle-aged man tossed out thirty-six copper coins.

This man was dressed in fine clothes, his long gown made of fine cloth, even better than Zheng Ruqian's. He was also very generous, not caring about a few dozen coins.

They don't seem like people from the town, but rather from the county.

Jiang Sheng, quick-witted and astute, shouted the moment he turned around, "Uncle, we have many more of these mushrooms, do you want some?"

The middle-aged man paused, turned his head, and said, "If they're both fresh, I'll take them both."

"Fresh, all fresh!" Jiang Sheng was extremely excited. "If Uncle doesn't need them dried, we can even deliver them on the same day."

The middle-aged man didn't say anything, but told his attendant to hold the mushrooms carefully.

Before leaving, he said leisurely, "I can accept it, but I won't come to town again. If you want to do this business, send it to Youranju in the county."

Zheng Ruqian turned around and said stubbornly, "I'm not afraid at all. I made a net profit of sixteen coins by reselling. I'd go through fire and water, let alone a county."

Jiang Sheng laughed, "Okay, I'll go with my second brother."

Fang Heng didn't understand how going to a county town could be compared to going through fire and water, but looking at the two siblings laughing like idiots, he couldn't help but curl the corners of his mouth.

Fang Heng raised his head, looked in the direction of Fengjing, and let out a long breath.

Suddenly, Jiang Sheng rushed over and grabbed his sleeve. "Third Brother, I need your help."
