But Jiang Sheng just wouldn't get up, and she couldn't pull her up either. She was on the verge of tears.
When Madam Jiang returned from washing up outside, her eyes were full of smiles. "If you don't want to get up, then don't. Just sleep here."
Tan Yue brought in hot water and a handkerchief. First, she had Jiang Sheng rinse her mouth and spit it out. Then, she used the hot handkerchief to wipe her hands and feet clean. Finally, she took off her outer garment.
Jiang Sheng slowly moved from the couch to Old Madam Jiang's bed, finally snuggling into her warm embrace.

The chubby little girl was still fast asleep when Old Madam Jiang got up early, changed her clothes, and rushed to Madam Jiang's main courtyard.
Jiang Liaoshi treated her mother-in-law with respect, and after washing up, she came over to pay her respects, "Greetings, Mother. Are you...?"
The rest of the words were left unsaid.
A hard, heavy slap came down, and Madam Jiang collapsed to the ground.
The maids and servants in the main courtyard exclaimed in surprise, but no one dared to come over and help them up.
