She came to the kitchen and saw the familiar figure. Qu Qingzhu was busy in the kitchen, cooking delicious meals.
That was her brother whom she had missed for a long time!
Qu Qingzhu heard the noise at the door, slowly raised his head, and saw Qu Qingdai standing stupidly at the kitchen door.
He chuckled and said gently, "What's wrong? After not seeing you for so long, don't you recognize your brother?"
"No!" Qu Qingdai's voice was a little aggrieved, her nose felt sore, and her eyes couldn't help but turn red.
She walked quickly into the kitchen, hugged Qu Qingzhu tightly regardless of anything, and said, "Brother, I miss you so much!"
"I miss you, too." Qu Qingzhu patted her back gently, hugged her back lightly, then let go and said lovingly, "Okay, go out quickly. Brother still needs to cook. I'll treat you and Jing Mo to a feast today."
"Yes, brother, just cook a little less. I'll go out and wait for you." Qu Qingdai nodded obediently and said, with a sweet smile on her face and her eyes full of anticipation.
"Okay, go out quickly." Qu Qingzhu said with a smile, his eyes full of pampering.
Qu Qingdai walked out of the kitchen and saw Su Jingmo standing by the dining table, carefully fiddling with the dishes. Her face lit up at first, then frowned, looking annoyed.
She walked quickly towards Su Jingmo. When she reached him, she stopped, raised her hand, hit him angrily, and said with a pout, "You actually hid it from me. You didn't even tell me that my brother was back. Humph!"
"Hahahaha, I'm being unfairly accused," Su Jingmo laughed heartily, his face full of helplessness. "I only found out last night, too. That's why my brother-in-law said he wanted to give you a surprise, so he didn't let me tell you." As he spoke, he grabbed Qu Qingdai's hand, gently placed it on his lips and kissed it, then continued, "Daidai, do you think this is a surprise?"
"Hmph, there's no surprise, but there is a shock." Qu Qingdai said pretending to be angry. Although she said so, there was an unconcealable smile in her eyes.
"Hahahaha, you scared our Daidai. I apologize to you." Su Jingmo said with a big laugh, bowing to Qu Qingdai with a flattering look on his face.
"Hmm! Then I will mercifully forgive you!" Qu Qingdai raised her chin and humphed in a pretentious manner, "Alright, help brother clean up!"
"Yes, sir!" Su Jingmo responded loudly, with a happy smile on his face.
