Chapter 67 The Eve of the Exhibition

When Qu Qingdai heard her brother's voice, a joyful smile appeared on her face. She came out to greet him like a blooming flower. "Brother, you're here! Come in first. My paintings are still in the studio."

"Okay, let's go to the studio first."

They walked into the house together and came to the studio. The entire studio was filled with Qu Qingdai's works. Every painting on the wall and display board was the result of Qu Qingdai's painstaking efforts.

Qu Qingdai, Qu Qingzhu and some servants helped to move the paintings. They carefully took down each painting from the wall, their movements as gentle as if they were protecting the most precious treasures.

"Be careful, I like this painting very much." Qu Qingdai reminded softly from the side, her eyes full of concern.

"Don't worry, I'll be very careful," Qu Qingzhu replied softly, his voice low and powerful. He walked towards the transport vehicle with slow and steady steps, each step firm and steady.

After placing the paintings on the transporter, Qu Qingzhu didn't leave immediately. Instead, he carefully inspected their placement. His fingers gently touched each painting, adjusting their position to ensure they were securely fastened to the transporter. His forehead gradually became covered with fine beads of sweat, which shimmered in the sunlight, and he wiped them away with his sleeve from time to time.

"Brother, are you tired? Drink some water." Qu Qingdai handed him a glass of water, her eyes full of heartache.

"I'm fine. This little thing is nothing." Qu Qingzhu took the water cup, took a sip, and then continued to work.

They carried the paintings back and forth, chatting with each other...

"Brother, do you think these paintings will look good in the exhibition hall?" Qu Qingdai asked worriedly, with a hint of doubt in her eyes.

"Of course, your paintings are so beautiful, they will definitely attract a lot of attention." Qu Qingzhu gave Qu Qingdai an affirmative look, which was full of encouragement and trust. "What's more, you are a famous painter, Grace. People in China who don't pay attention to artists may not know you, so how can I not know your fame?"

"But I'm still a little worried. After all, this is my first time holding an art exhibition in China. I'm afraid what would happen..." Qu Qingdai was interrupted by Qu Qingzhu before she could finish her words.

"Don't worry, Daidai, I'm here, along with A-Mo. We'll help you arrange everything." Qu Qingzhu's voice was firm and powerful, making Qu Qingdai feel extremely at ease.

As time passed, all the paintings were finally loaded onto the transport truck. Qu Qingzhu dusted off his hands and looked at the truck full of paintings with a pleased smile.

"Okay, Daidai." Qu Qingzhu said, his voice full of a sense of accomplishment.

"Thank you, brother." Qu Qingdai said with emotion, and walked forward to give Qu Qingzhu a big hug.

Qu Qingzhu hugged Qu Qingdai tightly, his eyes full of love. "Silly girl, we are brother and sister. This is what I should do."

"Brother, the transport truck will load the paintings into the exhibition hall. Let's take a rest first. After lunch in the afternoon, we'll go to the exhibition hall and place the paintings one by one in their appropriate locations in the exhibition hall." Qu Qingdai said to Qu Qingzhu gently with a smile on her face.

"Okay, let's do as you say." Qu Qingzhu smiled and nodded in agreement.

Afterward, Qu Qingzhu and Qu Qingdai sat side by side on a bench in the courtyard, the sun shining down on them, casting a warm glow. They began chatting about recent events, with Qu Qingdai softly recounting some of the anecdotes she'd encountered during her livestreams. Her eyes sparkled, and a cheerful smile graced her face. Qu Qingzhu listened intently, occasionally flashing a knowing smile and chiming in to share some of the fun stories from his time developing a bar in Jing City with Du Zhong and Gu Senyu.

In the afternoon, as the sun gently shone across the landscape, Qu Qingzhu and Qu Qingdai arrived at the garage. They carefully selected a car from among the numerous available options, and Qu Qingzhu finally settled on one. Then, Qu Qingzhu climbed into the driver's seat, started the engine, and the car smoothly drove out of the garage, speeding towards the exhibition hall where the art exhibition would open next week.

Soon, they arrived at their destination. Qu Qingzhu parked the car steadily in front of the exhibition hall and stepped out with Qu Qingdai. They looked up at the exhibition hall, which was filled with artistic decorations, each detail showcasing a unique charm. The exquisite paintings, gorgeous lighting, and unique furnishings filled them with amazement and admiration.

"It seems that the boy is still useful. This exhibition hall is decorated very well." Qu Qingzhu said as he looked around.

"Amo has always been great! In my heart, he is the best!" Qu Qingdai raised her chin, her face full of pride.

"Wow, look at them showing off their affection!" Qu Qingzhu said with a smile on his face, his tone full of joking.

"Hmph, brother, when will you find me a sister-in-law?" Qu Qingdai tilted her head and asked playfully, "I don't mind at all. It's okay if brother and sister-in-law show off their affection in front of me when the time comes!"

"You have no respect for your elder brother and you're meddling in his affairs." Qu Qingzhu pretended to be angry and knocked on Qu Qingdai's forehead, but a beautiful figure emerged involuntarily in his mind. He was slightly stunned and his thoughts drifted away.

"Brother, brother...what are you thinking about?" Qu Qingdai patted Qu Qingzhu's shoulder gently, tilted her head, her face full of confusion.
