It was midday, the blazing sun pouring its rays unreservedly across the earth. The deep blue glass curtain walls on either side of the building, caught in the direct sunlight, shimmered with a captivating brilliance, reflecting a dazzling light that forced pedestrians on the surrounding streets to squint. The four bustling streets were bustling with people, and the wide streets were filled with a constant stream of vehicles.
On the main street in front of this commercial building, a silver-gray streamlined sports car sped past like a flash of lightning. The beautiful and handsome car made a clean turn near the building, then turned around and sped towards the entrance to the underground parking lot at one end of the building.
The sports car slowly slowed down and finally came to a steady stop. Su Jingmo calmly got out of the car. As he closed the door, a pleasant ringtone suddenly rang out. This sudden interruption made Su Jingmo silently answer the phone and asked in a low voice, "What happened?"
"Mr. Su." The assistant on the other end of the line, holding the phone, voice filled with obvious shock, "Mr. Su, I've carefully investigated the source of Jiang Baizhi's paintings. It turns out that one day two years ago, she suddenly sent someone to my wife's former residence and took the paintings away.
