On the yacht heading to the island, Lin Zhirou stood quietly by, her eyes involuntarily drawn to Qu Qingdai and Qin Yunie, who were leaning against the railing and chatting intimately. Their faces were filled with bright smiles, and their intimacy made Lin Zhirou feel envious.
Recalling the past, Lin Zhirou was filled with regret. She had made many wrong decisions during the competition, even attempting to frame Qu Qingdai. She was full of suspicion and distrust towards her, and had always stood firmly in opposition to her. Now, seeing how close and harmonious they were, she realized how precious she had lost.
Lin Zhirou stared blankly in their direction, her eyes empty and confused, as if she was lost in deep thought. She just stood there blankly, lost in her own thoughts, unable to come back to her senses for a long time.
"Hey, Daidai, what's wrong with her? Why does she keep looking at us?" Qin Yunie lowered her voice and whispered to Qu Qingdai. Her brows were slightly furrowed, and a hint of confusion and dissatisfaction appeared on her face.
Qu Qingdai looked in the direction of Qin Yunie's finger and saw Lin Zhirou's lonely figure. She sighed softly and said slowly, "This... She used to be with Jiang Baizhi. Now that Jiang Baizhi is gone, she probably doesn't know who to turn to."
"That's what she deserves. I watched the recorded video of the previous live broadcast. She really didn't do anything good." Qin Yunie curled her lips and said in a firm tone, her face full of dissatisfaction and disgust towards Lin Zhirou.
Lin Zhirou listened to their conversation, feeling even more distressed. She knew how foolish and wrong her past actions had been, and that the loneliness she now faced was well deserved. She lowered her head silently, her heart filled with regret and self-blame. The yacht sailed steadily on the sea, but Lin Zhirou's heart was still filled with pain and confusion.
Qu Qingdai, Qin Yunie, and Lin Zhirou were the first to arrive at the mysterious island. The sight they saw as they set foot on the land amazed them. The island was surrounded by reefs of various shapes, like a natural barrier protecting this beautiful land.
Looking around, the whole island is full of vitality and vigor. The lush branches and leaves are like huge green umbrellas, covering the sky and blocking out the sun, giving people a wonderful feeling as if they are in a tropical rainforest.
However, after they had waited for a full half hour, the rest of the group, Tan Changqing, Bai Ren, and Chao Yan, finally arrived. Their faces were filled with exhaustion and a sense of despair, each of them panting as if they had just endured a difficult battle.
"Oh my God, how did you become like this?" Qin Yunie said in surprise with her eyes wide open, her face full of disbelief.
"God knows how tired we are! My hands are almost broken. This is simply a fully manual wooden boat. You really deserve it!" Bai Ren said as he shook his sore arms and showed a helpless smile on his face.
"It's so tiring. Who would have thought that we would have to row against the wind? It's almost life-threatening!" Chao Yan said weakly, his voice full of fatigue and resentment.
"Yes, yes, it's too tiring, my hands are so sore." Tan Changqing also echoed, his face full of fatigue.
"Oh my God! My deepest sympathy. I'm glad I took the yacht. Thank you, Dai Dai!" Qin Yunie said as he patted his chest with a look of relief on his face.
"You guys should take a rest first and catch your breath." Qu Qingdai said gently, her eyes full of concern.
"Here, have some water." Lin Zhirou said softly, handing them three bottles of mineral water with a kind smile on her face.
"Thank you, Zhirou." Tan Changqing took the mineral water and said gratefully.
"Thank you!" Chaoyan and Bairen also hurriedly expressed their gratitude.
"You're welcome. You guys take your time." Lin Zhirou said with a smile, and quietly stepped aside, no longer vying to perform like in the previous three episodes.
"Has she really turned over a new leaf?" Bai Ren lowered his voice, leaned close to Chao Yan, and asked quietly, with a hint of confusion and inquiry on his face.
After hearing what Bai Ren said, Chao Yan frowned slightly, then hit Bai Ren in annoyance and said, "Why do you care so much! This is already the last episode, we should just participate well and not think too much about it."
After hearing what Chao Yan said, Bai Ren sighed thoughtfully and said, "Forget it. Anyway, I won't have the chance to spend time with her again. It doesn't matter. I should cherish this last time!"
"Congratulations, everyone! You've successfully arrived on this beautiful island!" The director's voice echoed in everyone's ears, filled with joy and excitement. "Next, we'll begin selecting three types of supplies. However, this isn't a free choice; it depends on luck! Everyone, please look at that big turntable in the distance."
As the director spoke, everyone's eyes simultaneously turned to the large turntable in the distance. It was a massive disk, evenly divided into 12 smaller sectors. Each sector held a different image of supplies: a bright flashlight, a mosquito repellent bracelet, protective gloves, and practical bandages. Each item seemed incredibly practical, but since only three could be chosen, everyone needed to choose carefully.
"Wow, director, these supplies look so important. Can't you choose a few more?" Bai Ren raised his hand high and said to the director, his face full of anticipation.
