Chapter 56 High Fever

The rain curtain was pitch black, dark and scary.

There was a car parked at the intersection not far from the gate tree, and the people in the car clearly saw the people coming out of the gate.

Ji Hanjun opened the window and threw the cigarette out of his mouth, his dark eyes deep and unfathomable.

Sure enough, there was a damn mouse that tried every means to snatch his treasure away from him.

He gripped the steering wheel tightly, the madness and paranoia in his eyes almost overflowing. He didn't know what he was thinking about, but finally he lowered his eyes and let go of the steering wheel.

He picked up the phone next to him and made a call.

"Young Master."

"Send someone to follow and notify me immediately if anything happens."

Su Ze was walking in the opposite direction. If he looked back, he would see the black car not far from the street light at the intersection.

But he left too hastily and was afraid that Ji Hanjun would come back suddenly.

The heavy rain washed over his body, and the pain in his legs became more and more obvious.

He was already weak, and now he felt dizzy and his vision was black.

But he didn't dare stop.

Because it concerns his freedom.

Before he had gone far, a car came from the front and stopped steadily next to him.

"It's raining too hard, get in the car quickly."

Gu Qing opened the car door and helped the person into the car without even opening the umbrella.

The heater was on in the car, and the moment I got in, I felt surrounded by warmth.

Su Ze sat aside feeling dizzy, glancing outside with a myriad of thoughts in his mind.

Did he...escape successfully...

Gu Qing took the medicine box and gently used a tissue to wipe the dirt and water stains around the wound on its leg.

He moved gently, not daring to hurt the young master.

After bandaging his wound, I realized that Su Ze hadn't said a word the whole way. He just sat there quietly looking out the window.

"Aren't you glad you escaped?"

Su Ze turned his empty eyes and looked at Gu Qing seriously, then lowered his head in self-mockery.

"Where else can I go after my identity is exposed?"

He thought about where he could go after escaping, but now he was in a foreign country and he didn't know anyone there.

When he returned to China, he didn't know how to face his parents.

He has been spoiled since he was a child, and until now Ji Hanjun has always been by his side.

He can't even make a basic omelet.

How he lives is still a question...

Gu Qing looked at him with a firm gaze, her eyes meeting his, her tone gentle and affirmative.

"No, I can support you."

Gu Qing came to a foreign country alone, and Gu Lisheng was already busy dealing with her own company's affairs in China.

After the two returned to the hotel, he discovered that Su Ze had a high fever.

"Just stay here and I'll go buy some medicine."

Gu Qing covered him with the quilt, picked up the mobile phone on the table and quickly went downstairs to buy medicine.

There was a pharmacy downstairs opposite the hotel. He went in and bought disinfectant alcohol, antipyretics and wound ointment.

After buying the things, he quickly returned to the hotel, jogging all the way, and even didn't have time to wipe the sweat off his head.

When I opened the door and prepared to feed Su Ze the medicine, I found that the person who had just had a fever and whose face was red and lying on the bed was gone.

The thing in his hand fell to the ground quietly, and his first reaction was that Ji Hanjun had been there.

The unknown emotions in my heart are so suppressed that I feel very uncomfortable.

He had obviously been rescued.

It’s all my fault for not having high hopes for him.

Although Su Ze had a fever, he was still able to walk and even left a message with the front desk staff before leaving.

The clothes on his body were still the same, and although they had been dried, there was still some dirt on them.

The rain outside had stopped, and it took several hours to get to the hotel from such a remote place.

It was almost dawn the next morning.

Su Ze was walking on the street without a cell phone or cash.

I wanted to borrow someone's phone, but found that there was no one on the street.

If I had known this, I would have borrowed the phone at the hotel.

He found a park bench and sat down. There were some water stains on it, but he didn't care. He just wanted to find a place to have a good rest.

He is a child of nobility, and deep down he doesn't want others to see him in such a miserable state.

Now I am in such a mess.

He doesn't want to be laughed at.

He sat in a chair and watched the sun rising slightly in the distance. As he watched, his eyelids began to droop.

He had chosen this bench in the park, a secluded spot, and soon he fell asleep leaning on it.

The person on the bench had been sleeping for a while, and then someone in the dark slowly walked out.

Ji Hanjun was wearing a black windbreaker and was tall. He stood next to the bench.

His black eyes showed no emotion as he looked at Su Ze quietly.

The little face was slightly red with a sickly pale tint, and the calf had been bandaged and cleaned.

His clothes were a little dirty, but it was obvious that they were branded. He lay in a small ball on the bench, looking very pitiful.

It's like an unwanted noble cat abandoned on the roadside.

Ji Hanjun took off his clothes and covered him with them, then bent down and held him firmly in his arms in one go.

Su Ze had a headache and vaguely felt someone kissing his forehead.

He wanted to struggle, but he could smell the familiar scent on the body, and the embrace was large and warm.

So warm...

Ji Hanjun took him to the hospital and asked the doctor to give him medicine and an injection.

After the doctor left, Ji Hanjun sat quietly by the bed and touched his hand that had been pierced with the needle with gentle force.

His young master was most afraid of pain. When he was a child, he was even afraid of injections.

Now, in order to escape from him, I would rather jump off the balcony.
