"Su Ze, what happened to your English test today? You always got full marks in this joint test with other schools, so why did you get such a low score this time?"
There are teachers from various subjects sitting in the office, and all of them know how good Su Ze's English is.
With Su Ze's level, he is definitely qualified to be a foreign trade translator.
Su Ze shrugged his shoulders: "Teacher, I suddenly realized that English is not suitable for me."
The reason why he studied English so hard was so that he could go abroad and help his parents.
Now his parents don't want him anymore and have given up on him. No matter how hard he tries, it's useless.
"How about this, I'll call your parents and you can talk it over, okay? You're the most talented student in the entire English major."
Su Ze watched the teacher call Yang Muxin in front of him. The phone beeped, but no one answered.
The light in Su Ze's eyes faded little by little until a familiar female voice came from the phone, and then his eyes lit up.
"Who?"
"Hello, Mrs. Su Ze. I'm Su Ze's English teacher. His CET-8 English test results weren't ideal, but his English score is good enough to qualify him as a translator abroad. I'm wondering if something happened to him and he's either unwilling or deliberately messing up the test."
There was a pause on the other end of the phone for a few seconds, and then there was no sound.
The teacher was a little puzzled: "Mother Su Ze?"
The phone was suddenly hung up, and the last bit of hope in his heart was shattered.
Su Ze stood up without saying a word: "Sorry, teacher, I have something to do and I'll leave first."
After leaving the office, Su Ze wiped his eyes aggrievedly, his heart filled with pain.
He had good grades before, so he wanted to try to use his academic performance as a bet, thinking that this would attract his mother's attention.
Even though he had thought of the worst outcome, he never thought that she would hang up the phone directly.
The pain in his heart made him want to know what his mother was thinking even more.
The phone kept ringing with notifications. It was Ji Hanjun asking him where he was.
Ji Hanjun: Is get out of class over? I’ll pick you up.
Ji Hanjun: It will rain in the afternoon, so stay in the classroom and don’t move.
Su Ze typed a reply to him, but after thinking about it, he deleted it.
There are always some hooligans causing trouble outside the school. After Su Ze left the office, he went to the alley where he was often robbed.
As soon as Su Ze walked over, he saw a group of yellow-haired bad boys leaning against the wall in the distance, smoking and cursing.
What a lack of quality, the insults were quite harsh.
Su Ze walked up with his backpack on one hand and passed by several people, but the imagined scene did not happen.
He was wearing limited edition sneakers, and judging by his uniform, you could tell he was from an aristocratic school. Why didn't they just rob him?
Su Ze did not give up. He walked to the intersection ahead and turned back and walked again. One of the yellow-haired people looked at him, turned his head back, lit a cigarette, and continued chatting with the person next to him.
"That guy has walked back and forth three times. What does he want to do?"
"Look at what he's wearing, he's clearly a rich young master from a wealthy family."
“Not robbing?”
"We can't afford to rob the rich young masters, so we can only bully those from the neighboring school."
"Wait for him to come over. If he dares to walk in front of us again, we will rob him."
A few of them were chatting happily, discussing whether to rob passing children tonight or to rob the school next door, and they were all waiting for Su Ze to walk past them again.
After a while, they noticed a person in a white and blue school uniform walking straight towards them.
"That man is coming. When he comes over, we will stop him and ask for two hundred yuan so we can go drink in the evening."
Su Ze walked very fast. They were ready to stop him, but as soon as Su Ze approached, he punched one of them.
"I've walked in front of you so many times, but you can't see me."
The man was beaten for no apparent reason, but then he came to his senses and rushed forward cursing.
The beating incident at the entrance of the alley was quickly discovered and the police were called. The police car arrived quickly and took all the bad boys who had beaten people into the car.
There was a bruise on the corner of Su Ze's mouth, but there were no other serious injuries on his body.
Several people were detained in a house while waiting to be questioned by the police on duty. Su Ze was brought in by a female police officer.
As the female police officer just walked to the door, she received a call. Su Ze saw her making the call and walked in by herself.
The moment the group saw Su Ze come in, their eyes widened in disgust and fear. They stood up one by one and wanted to curse, but Su Ze spoke first.
The soft voice sounded aggrieved, but there was a hint of luck in the eyes.
"What's wrong? A group of people bullying me, aren't you ashamed?"
The guy who was beaten the worst had his eyes almost popping out. They had never beaten a rich young man who looked so weak.
"Why are you pretending? You were the first one to hit me! You hit me the hardest!"
Su Ze softened his voice again, still vaguely crying: "How could I have that?"
The female police officer who had just finished the call came in with the two male police officers who had come to inquire. What they saw at first sight was a fragile, pretty and well-behaved teenager being pointed at and scolded by a group of aggressive young men.
The female police officer frowned, looked at Su Ze's frightened expression, stepped forward and blocked him behind her, and spoke in a stern voice.
"If you keep making noise, you'll be detained at the police station for a month."
After hearing this, the group of people had no choice but to sit down obediently. No matter how dissatisfied they were, they just glared at Su Ze with resentment.
