Campus Chronicle 6: Fraud
Arriving at the hospital, Li Chuanze sat on the bed, crossed his legs and played games. When he heard the door open, he immediately pricked up his ears and saw Ye Ruoliu coming, grinning.
"Here she comes." Li Chuanze looked at Ye Ruoliu and smiled helplessly, "Why are you arguing with her? She is just that kind of person, and I ignore her." He was talking about Wang Hui.
Ye Ruoliu snorted: "If I had argued with her, I would have been angry to death." After hearing her words, Li Chuanze covered his lower abdomen and laughed out loud. He laughed so hard that it pulled his head, and he grimaced in pain.
Ye Ruoliu brought the food to the table. Li Chuanze was already starving, so he picked up his chopsticks and started to eat heartily. Seeing him like this, Ye Ruoliu couldn't help but remind him, "Eat slowly, no one is going to snatch it from you." She also poured him a glass of warm water.
"Why don't you eat?" Li Chuanze asked Ye Ruoliu who was drinking water on the side, with his mouth full and chewing something.
Ye Ruoliu laughed and said, "You eat like a pig. I feel a little nauseous." She was really a little nauseous, but it was not because of watching Li Chuanze eat. Instead, when she thought of what Lin Qiu said in front of her, a nameless anger surged in her heart.

Ye Ruoliu was amused by him: "Okay, eat quickly, thank you. But I don't agree."
Li Chuanze had been quite content after hearing the first half of Ye Ruoliu's words, but when he heard the word "disagree," he froze. He held a large mouthful of egg fried rice in his mouth, but he didn't swallow it. A few grains of rice fell into his esophagus, choking him and causing him to cough violently. His face flushed red.
Ye Ruoliu quickly brought the trash can to him and asked Li Chuanze to spit out the food. "Why?" Li Chuanze said while coughing.
"Men and women should not touch each other." Ye Ruoliu said seriously.
When Li Chuanze proposed to buy a villa, she thought of this. She had a crush on Li Chuanze, but she had not thought about living in the same room with a grown man.
Although it seems that Li Chuanze is only interested in games, he is a man after all. It is really inappropriate for a man and a woman to live together. If something happens in the future, it will not look good if it gets out.
Li Chuanze coughed even harder when he heard this. After recovering, he said jokingly, "I'm going to Thailand for surgery tomorrow. From now on, we can call each other sisters."
"Get lost!" Ye Ruoliu was too lazy to pay attention to him.
Li Chuanze looked puzzled: "Why are you worried about me? Don't you know me well? You don't really think I will do anything to you? I am very upright, okay?" He raised his eyebrows and flicked the shoulder strap that Ye Ruoliu accidentally exposed.
Ye Ruoliu grabbed his neck with one hand and slowly lowered her gaze to look at Li Chuanze's crotch: "This is the first time. If it happens again, we should just be sisters." She then added: "Stop doing dirty things."
"Got it. Don't be angry. How about you give me a flick too?" Li Chuanze smiled sheepishly. Then, like a lively fish, he pulled his hospital pants down a little, revealing a corner of his black underwear. "How about you give me a flick?"
Ye Ruoliu's face changed when she saw this. Li Chuanze knew he had gone too far in his joke, so he pulled up his pants and put his hands together: "I'm sorry, sister, I was wrong, I'm sorry."
Sometimes, Ye Ruoliu felt that Li Chuanze was not even a human being. He was like a three-year-old, mindless child who had no idea what he was doing. Or maybe he was mentally ill.

Li Chuanze made a fuss for a while, and then the ward became quiet. Ye Ruoliu didn't bother to argue with him. She picked up the apple, but then stopped and thought of Lin Qiu. But she felt she should still tell Li Chuanze, so she said calmly, "By the way, I went to take the statement this afternoon, and then I met the child's mother."
Li Chuanze paused while eating and looked at her: "Huh? What did she want from you? To apologize?"

"I know, don't say anything more." Ye Ruoliu nodded, "I didn't agree to her, and the transcript also tells the truth."
"That's right. If it were me, I should have said it more seriously and sentenced this man to death." Li Chuanze's expression eased a little. He picked up the chopsticks again, but he had no appetite. He moved the rice in the bowl thoughtfully.
The two were speechless for a moment, both sighing. The sky outside the window darkened, and Li Chuanze stayed here, unable to sleep.
He was a person who couldn't sit still. Seeing that he was very bored, Ye Ruoliu decided to take him out for a walk.
The weather had turned cooler, and Ye Ruoliu took a coat and put it on Li Chuanze. A gentle breeze blew, gently lifting the strands of hair on his forehead. The two of them slowly walked to a small path under the hospital building. The night air was slightly cooler, and there was no longer the smell of disinfectant in the ward, which made people feel refreshed. Li Chuanze said, "The doctor said I'm lucky. I was hit hard, and my skull was only slightly cracked. I should be able to recover in two or three days, and I won't be able to miss school at all."
He sighed heavily: "What kind of luck is this? I thought I could rest for a few more days."
"Don't joke with your life." Ye Ruoliu retorted. "I know, you're just like an old woman." Li Chuanze curled his lips and smiled.
Looking at Ye Ruoliu who was serious in front of him, Li Chuanze wanted to tease her very much, so he pretended to have a headache.
Ye Ruoliu's face changed when she heard the voice, and she looked at him: "Where does it hurt? Do you want to go back to the hospital quickly?" While saying this, Ye Ruoliu had already pulled Li Chuanze's hand and wanted to rush to the hospital.
But Li Chuanze stood there like a wooden man and didn't want to leave.
"Then I'll go call an ambulance." Ye Ruoliu said and was about to dial 120, even though they were only five meters away from the hospital.
She didn't want Li Chuanze to get into any trouble again.
"No!" Li Chuanze just stood there motionless.
Ye Ruoliu caught a glimpse of Li Chuanze's lips raised in a smug smile, and she paused, realizing instantly that Li Chuanze was bluffing her.
The tense string in her heart suddenly loosened, followed by a feeling of helplessness that was both angry and funny.
"If you keep pretending, I'll beat you to death," she said calmly.
Seeing that he was exposed, Li Chuanze did not argue. He smiled and leaned towards Ye Ruoliu: "Oh, it's so boring and uncomfortable for you to have a stern face every day. Come smile with me."
He clung to Ye Ruoliu like a pet that needed its owner's caress.
Ye Ruoliu pushed him helplessly and said, "Stop it. If you do this again next time, don't blame me for being rude to you. You keep making such a fuss every day. When will you finally come to your senses?"
The two were playing around when a figure emerged from the darkness and headed straight towards them. Ye Ruoliu was very sensitive to such things, and her eyes quickly locked onto the figure. In the dim light of the streetlight, she could clearly see the figure.
Although the weather has turned cold, it is not yet necessary to wear a thick cotton-padded jacket. However, this man put on a cotton-padded jacket with his hands tucked inside. He tied the jacket belt, leaving his cuffs empty, as if he had no hands, and staggered towards this side.
His face was black and his lips were pale. It was obvious that he had been suffering from illness for a long time. He slowly approached the two of them, getting faster and faster.
Ye Ruoliu felt something was wrong and pulled Li Chuanze to her side.
Unexpectedly, as soon as the man came over, before he could even stand firmly, he cried out an exaggerated "Ouch!" "How did you walk? You don't have eyes, you hit me to death!"
It was standard scam tactics, and the tone was even a bit perfunctory. He only said two words before falling to the ground, his eyes wide open and he couldn't get up. It was obvious that he wanted money.
Ye Ruoliu frowned. She had already turned on the camera on her mobile phone and recorded the whole thing of the scammer. There was no need to argue with him. She could just show him the video and make him leave in disgrace.
"Uncle, what are you pretending for? You didn't encounter anything at all. We can find out by investigating the surveillance. You'd better dust yourself off." Li Chuanze said speechlessly.
Unexpectedly, the man laughed and said, "There's no surveillance here. I told you to touch me, so you touched me."
Ye Ruoliu was just about to raise her cell phone to let the man see it, but Li Chuanze, who was just smiling and joking,
He suddenly covered his head which had just undergone surgery, and his body shook violently twice. His voice trembled, and was a hundred times weaker than that of the man who hit him with a car: "Ah, my head! Brother, did you hit my head?
I just had a craniotomy yesterday, and the doctor said I can't take any more impact! It's over, it's over, I feel like my brain is going to burst out!"
