Chapter 27 Enjoying the Blessings of Having Two Women
"Where are you going? I'll give you a ride." Li Qidong seemed to ignore their previous disagreement, rolling down the car window with a beaming smile, treating the two of them like family.
Li Tingxi ignored him and was about to pull Su Youling away when the phone rang.
Su Youling only glanced at it—it was Lin Lexi's phone call.
Li Tingxi hesitated for a moment, but still answered the call. He subtly positioned himself in front of Su Youling, blocking Li Qidong's impolite gaze.
Li Qidong smiled, his eyes slightly cold.
He needs to be even more attentive to Shen Xiyue in order to make Li Tingxi lose his composure.
Lin Lexi said something, and Li Tingxi's expression changed. He quickly replied, "Don't panic, I'll be right back."
After hanging up the phone, he looked down at Su Youling, unsure of what to say.
Su Youling showed no expression, not at all surprised.
With a new love by his side, it's normal for him to be very attentive.
She was just a little curious: if he cared so much about one or two stand-ins, how much must he have liked Shen Xiyue back then?

Su Youling's face darkened. "No, this is my responsibility as the director. Why push it onto someone else? Xiao Han is just a junior assistant. It's too dangerous here..."
"You know it's dangerous, so what are you doing here? Waiting for another bucket of blood?" Li Tingxi frowned, his tone leaving no room for argument. "Will you walk by yourself, or should I carry you?"
"Li Tingxi!" Su Youling couldn't help but raise her voice, "This isn't the first time I've encountered this kind of threat, I'm used to it, you don't need to do this."
Li Tingxi's expression froze. "What did you say? When did you..."
"Because you never pay attention to where I am or what I'm doing." Su Youling didn't want to bring up the past, and didn't want to look like a long-suffering divorced woman, but Li Tingxi's aggressiveness was unbearable, and her expression grew colder.

"Li Qidong, shut up." Li Tingxi's face darkened, and he grabbed Su Youling's arm and said in a low voice, "If you want to bring up old grievances, wait until we get back. Don't embarrass yourself here."
He didn't want to see her distant and indifferent gaze, dared not delve into his past oversights, and couldn't bear to see her appear so strong yet so deeply saddened.

“He disgusted me,” Li Tingxi said.
"That's strange. Even someone as invulnerable as you got angry. Li Qidong has evolved." The speaker was Li Tingxi's best friend from his student days.
Although Li Mufeng is not in the jewelry industry, he is a renowned technical expert in the field, and obtaining information about Donglin's internal affairs is a piece of cake for him.

Su Youling's smile vanished instantly.
