Chapter 12: He gained neither people nor money.
Su Youling grew impatient with the gloating tone. "Your good brother ruined your contract, and you got neither the person nor the money. How can President Li still be laughing? He's really thick-skinned!"
Li Qidong's smile froze for a moment.
Ding Muyan's betrayal was something he hadn't expected. He was so angry that he couldn't sleep all night, so he had someone keep an eye on the Li mansion. Knowing that the couple had been making a scene in the middle of the night, he made a point of coming over early in the morning to kick them while they were down.
Unexpectedly, Shen Xiyue is now so tolerant of any loss that she is much more appealing than her previous submissive and compliant demeanor.

"She pretends to be nice by making us work overtime all night, but as soon as the design is finished, she sells it off. Shen Xiyue is a complete scoundrel."
"She relies on being the president's wife to secure the position of design director at such a young age. What makes her so special? In terms of seniority and ability, the deputy director is a thousand times better than her!"

“Yaosheng has agreed to renew the contract.” Su Youling glanced at the time. “Let’s have a meeting now to revise the design details.”
She walked towards the conference room, but everyone remained motionless, clearly unwilling to cooperate.
Lin Lexi was secretly overjoyed, but on the surface she feigned concern, saying, "Everyone, please don't be like this. Director Shen has been trying to find a way to make amends. If we try a little harder, there might still be hope."

Su Youling's words gave him renewed courage. "Director, I'll go right away."
As soon as Xiao Han left, Shen Jiang glanced at Su Youling and shook his head. "I know you and Amy are close and you want her to help you put on an act. But you don't know this yet, do you? With Yaosheng as the new crown prince, Amy has fallen out of favor. She can't help you with anything! You're still young, don't be fooled."
Everyone was furious. "Things have come to this point, and you still want to fool us, Shen Xiyue! You don't deserve to stay in the design department. Get out of here!"
Lin Lexi smiled and whispered regretfully in Su Youling's ear, "Director, the team you built doesn't seem to be on your side."
Su Youling ignored her.
When Xiao Han came out with her phone, Amy's voice came through: "Director Shen, President Ding instructed us about the signing this morning. We'll meet at 2 PM in the Yaosheng No. 1 conference room. The details of the contract still need to be refined."
The crowd found it hard to believe that it was true.
"Why would CEO Ding suddenly break the contract with Donglin and choose us instead?" The deputy director asked skeptically. "Xi Yue, what did you do?"
"Teacher, that's not the point. It's 10:30 now. Are you all sure you want to keep dawdling here?" Su Youling opened the conference room door and said calmly, "Those who don't want to go to Yaosheng to sign the contract don't need to come in."
Xiao Han happily followed him inside. "Director, you really are the best. I knew you would have a solution."
Everyone looked at each other, then turned to the deputy director.
Shen Jiang got up and followed him inside. "What are you standing there for? Let's start the meeting!"
Seeing that he believed them, everyone quickly got up and went into the meeting room, no longer daring to raise their voices at Su Youling.
Lin Lexi was the last to try to go in, but Xiao Han stopped her, saying, "Secretary Lin, you're no longer part of the design department."
