Chapter 231 Losing Reason
It was late at night when Li Tingxi arrived at the hospital.
The nurses on the night shift were gossiping quietly at the service desk. Li Tingxi could clearly hear words like "Mr. Shi," "wife," and "affectionate," which easily reignited his anger that had just subsided.
"Which ward is Mr. Shi in?"
He looked hostile, and with several tall, burly bodyguards behind him, the nurse shrank back and stammered out the room number.
When Li Tingxi arrived with a group of bodyguards, the door to the ward was half open, and Su Youling was already asleep, lying next to Shi Yan's bed.
Shi Yan was gazing tenderly at her unguarded sleeping face, his eyes overflowing with affection.
Li Tingxi's eyes grew colder and colder as he barged inside.
Shi Yan saw him first raise an eyebrow, then narrow his eyes and give him a provocative smile, then reach out and brush a stray hair from Su Youling's forehead, and then lean down to place a kiss on her forehead.
Li Tingxi's pupils constricted, his hands creaking at his sides, and he rushed forward to grab Li Tingxi's collar.

In the quiet hallway, the motion-sensor lights flickered on and off. Shi Yan, leaning against the wall with his cane, casually remarked, "You know about the child, so you've come here specifically to confront me, haven't you?"
Li Tingxi was instantly enraged. He turned around and threw a punch at the bridge of his nose. "Who do you think you are? I'm here to tell you to stay away from my woman and child, or I won't hesitate to make your Yin family disappear from B City!"
Shi Yan was knocked doubled over by the blow. After recovering, his eyes turned sinister, and he chuckled softly, "Li Tingxi, you're far too confident. What if I said the child was mine..."
Veins throbbed on Li Tingxi's forehead. He walked over and punched him in the stomach again, slamming his face against the wall. He snarled, "You fucking dare to throw mud at my woman again!"
"If it's your child, why has Lingling kept it from you? I've been by her side at every prenatal checkup. Do you think I can tolerate the woman I love being pregnant with another man's child?" Shi Yan raised his head with a half-smile, his eyes filled with smugness.
That was the victor mocking the loser.
Li Tingxi couldn't help but be swayed by his words.
On the way here, he kept thinking about why Su Youling was keeping it from him.
Seeing that he had overheard, Shi Yan raised an eyebrow and deliberately said, "Do you want me to tell you when she rekindled her old flame with me? I can tell you the details too."
As soon as Shi Yan uttered those words, Li Tingxi completely lost his temper and twisted his arm behind his back with great force.
Shi Yan couldn't help but let out a scream.
The commotion in the hallway startled Su Youling awake in her hospital room. Seeing that Shi Yan was gone, she confirmed that the voice was his and rushed over in alarm.
Seeing Shi Yan's bloodless face, Su Youling didn't think twice and immediately rushed forward, forcefully shoving Li Tingxi away and shouting, "Li Tingxi, what's wrong with you?"

At this moment, Shi Yan showed none of the arrogance he had just displayed in front of Li Tingxi. Instead, he appeared to be enduring humiliation and weakly told Su Youling that he was alright.
However, given the horrific injuries he sustained, his words were utterly unconvincing, making him appear especially pitiful and further highlighting Li Tingxi's domineering and tyrannical nature.
Li Tingxi's eyes were bloodshot with anger. Seeing Su Youling so anxiously protecting Shi Yan, he was consumed by jealousy and began to lose control. He walked over and pulled Su Youling away, pinning her against the wall.
"Su Youling, tell me, are you pregnant?"
Su Youling felt a sudden pang of panic, but thinking of Shi Yan standing beside her, she was unwilling to expose their affair to outsiders.

Until now, he had been telling himself to believe in Su Youling, but at this moment he was completely disappointed.
All his anger was unleashed, each punch landing squarely, until Shi Yan collapsed to the ground, unable to hold on any longer. Only then did Li Tingxi toss him aside like trash, his voice as cold as ice: "Throw him out and deal with him."
The bodyguard responded with a "yes," covered Shi Yan's mouth, and carried him out.
Su Youling was terrified by Li Tingxi's fierce gaze. Watching Shi Yan being taken away in the blink of an eye, she shouted at Li Tingxi in a mix of anxiety and anger, "Li Tingxi, let him go! Do you know that murder is illegal?!"
Li Tingxi walked up to her, grabbed her wrist, and gave a cool smirk. "Don't worry, he won't die. But whether he loses a hand or a leg, I can't guarantee."
Su Youling was shocked by his madness and her eyes welled up with tears. She grabbed his hand and softened her voice, "Li Tingxi, please let him go, okay? I'm begging you. I promise he won't bother you again after today."
The more she pleaded, the darker the shadows in Li Tingxi's eyes became.
"His mistake wasn't provoking me, but rather that he shouldn't have been so delusional about you!" Li Tingxi suddenly grabbed her chin, forcing her closer to him, and wiped the corner of her eye with his other hand.
The dampness his hand touched made him curl his lips in a sarcastic smile. "Good, very good."
She actually shed tears for another man right in front of him!
Li Tingxi's eyes suddenly hardened, and he grabbed Su Youling's wrist and dragged her outside.
Su Youling sensed something was wrong and gripped the door frame tightly at the entrance of the stairwell, looking at him with suspicion and uncertainty. "Li Tingxi, what do you want to do?"
Li Tingxi's cold gaze fell on her lower abdomen. He closed his eyes briefly. "Su Su, as long as you get rid of the child in your belly, I can forgive everything from the past."
"You want me to have an abortion?!" Su Youling instinctively protected her stomach, staring at him with wide eyes in disbelief. Her fingers trembled uncontrollably from shock and fear, and tears streamed down her face.
