However, the facts told Qin Yulong that she was not hallucinating.
Because the sound continued.
Wen Yan felt very uncomfortable being stared at by Qin Yulong with such a frown!
[What does that mean? Why is she looking at me like that! I didn't make things difficult for her actors. She wanted to change roles herself, so she has to suffer the consequences of that role!]
[Annoying! If you keep staring at me like that, I'm going to glare back. You've already lost the contest of who has bigger eyes.]
Two very long heartfelt expressions.
Looking around, no one else seemed to react to this.
Qin Yulong was almost immediately certain that she was the only one on the entire set who could hear that voice.
Why?
Could this actress named Wen Yan be related to my past?
Subconsciously, Qin Yulong suddenly turned her head and walked quickly towards Wen Yan.
Where is she going? The assistant director who was leading Qin Yulong ahead was dumbfounded.
Upon closer inspection, he realized that Qin Yulong was heading in the direction of Wen Yan, so he quickly reached out and grabbed her.
"Miss Qin, Miss Qin, you've come to the wrong place. Our director is over there."
Qin Yulong snapped out of her daze, glanced down at the hand holding her, and said in a somewhat cold tone, "Please let go of me."
"Excuse me, excuse me!" The assistant director immediately withdrew his hand and repeated, "Our director is over there, in the studio in front."
"OK."
The two quickly entered the studio, and the assistant director came out shortly afterward.
He came out looking very unhappy, muttering to himself, "What kind of attitude is that! Just like that actress."
As soon as the assistant director said that, other staff members immediately chimed in.
"Exactly, they always have such a cold face, acting like they're some big shot. None of the A-list celebrities I've met are like that. Who do they think they are?"
"Who says otherwise? No one would want to work with these kinds of people a second time. They think they're still in their own country, but nobody here would want to flatter them."
"Shh... Keep your voice down, don't say anything. The person in charge is here."
"Where is she? Didn't she just go in?"
"No, it's not her. I'm talking about Fu Yiqing. Look, isn't he coming from over there?"
Wen Yan looked in the direction the staff indicated and saw Fu Yiqing and her assistant hurrying over.
Fu Yiqing seemed rather unhappy.
As she walked, she continued to give instructions to her assistant.
"Who told you to call her? It's not like I can't handle it myself."
"You shut up as soon as I ask you a question. If you really like shutting up so much, then just keep your mouth shut. But when it comes to tattling, your mouth is quick to open."
"You're still not going to talk, huh? If you're not going to talk, then don't ever talk."
At this point, Fu Yiqing suddenly stopped.
After looking around, she turned her attention to her assistant.
"What are you still standing here for? Go ask them where they are! Are you going to wait for me to search for them one by one?"
"I'll be right there!" Her assistant quickly ran up to the director's assistant.
However, the assistant director and several other staff members ignored her, because her actors always delayed the work schedule and made them work overtime!
The worst part is that this lousy job doesn't pay for overtime. Let whoever wants to work overtime do it!
The assistant had no choice but to find it himself.
Judging from her nonchalant demeanor, she was clearly used to being treated this way.
A short while later, the assistant found the director and Qin Yulong and led Fu Yiqing over.
During the conversation between the director and Qin Yulong, work on set was suspended.
Everyone was very concerned about what was happening inside, but even though everyone was listening intently, they didn't hear anything.
But once Fu Yiqing went in, the situation changed.
She started arguing with the director again, and then Qin Yulong's voice rang out.
However, her voice was relatively soft compared to the other two, and Wen Yan and the others couldn't hear what she was saying at all.
But soon, the director and Fu Yiqing ended their argument.
Then, the director walked out yelling.
He kicked the props on the ground as he walked.
"Ridiculous! Absolutely ridiculous! If you're a princess, you should go home and inherit your crown. Why are you making movies?"
"I'm quitting today! Fine, I'll terminate the contract. What's the big deal? I can't find good scripts or make movies without you!"
"I quit! I quit! Qiangzi, come pack your things and get out of here!"
"Okay, coming right away."
The assistant director picked up a megaphone and gathered his team together to start packing up the equipment.
"..." The staff present were all stunned.
So, are they going to lose their jobs too?
No way! It's only been a few days since they started operating, and it's already closing down way too quickly.
It's so cold, it's hard to find a job.
Wen Yan was also confused.
This was the first time she had ever seen a director quit on set.
And he's a director who usually seems to have such a good temper.
It has to be said that Fu Yiqing and her agent are a truly infuriating duo.
Qin Yulong also found the director at this time.
Before she could speak, the director angrily interrupted her: "No need to say more. If you have powerful connections, then please find someone else. I can't serve you anymore!"
Fu Yiqing then walked out with an arrogant air.
Qin Yulong quickly caught up with her.
