The moment Wen Yan opened her eyes, she saw an enlarged, incredibly handsome face, unlike anything she had ever seen before.
She nodded: "Yes, Aunt Zhang told me you've been coming home every night lately. I needed to talk to you about something, so I just waited in the living room. I'd already taken two naps before you came back. It must be pretty late by now, right?"
As she spoke, Wen Yan reached out and touched her phone.
"Here it is." Shen Jingxiu chuckled and reached out to pick up Wen Yan's phone, which had fallen onto the carpet.
Wen Yan took the phone and her eyes widened when she looked at it.
"Well, it's already past midnight. Dude, isn't today Friday? Tomorrow's a workday. Are you not going to work tomorrow if you're working this late?"
Shen Jingxiu looked tired, but he never complained about his work.
He calmly explained to Wen Yan, "It was a cross-border video conference. There was no other way; we are in a different time zone than people from other countries."
"Sigh!" Wen Yan sighed. "It seems being a CEO isn't easy. So, what about tomorrow? Are there any meetings? Are you going to work overtime?"
"What?" Hearing Wen Yan's words, Shen Jingxiu immediately understood. "Your filming has already ended?"
Wen Yan nodded: "That's right, we just finished filming today. If nothing unexpected happens, I'll be staying home for the next few days. If you're not working overtime tomorrow, come back early. There's something I want to talk to you about. It's late today, so I think you should wash up and go to bed early. I won't bother you anymore."
His body and mind were a little tired, but as for Wen Yan's matter, Shen Jingxiu could actually handle it now.
However, since she's not in a hurry, it's not impossible to leave it until tomorrow.

A soft laugh came from the other end of the phone.
But his tone quickly turned serious.
"Get up quickly and grab something to eat. I was supposed to have a visit this afternoon, but it was canceled at the last minute because of the other party, so I have my afternoon free."
Considering that Wen Yan doesn't like staying at home, Shen Jingxiu even did some research before making the call.
"Didn't you say last night that you had something to discuss with me? Wait a moment, I'll go home and pick you up. Let's find a quiet place to talk. The weather is nice today, it's still quite warm outside."
Wen Yan's head was indeed a little sore from sleeping for too long, so going out for a walk was a good choice.
She sat up abruptly: "Okay! But have you decided where you want to go? It might not be convenient in crowded places."
Shen Jingxiu had already considered this: "I know. So let's go to Xinghu Park. I heard there's a nice coffee shop there, and since it's a weekday, it'll be quite private."
“Okay!” Wen Yan didn’t like to worry. Since Shen Jingxiu had already made the arrangements, she only needed to send one person.
"But brother, you don't need to come back to pick me up. I just checked the map on my phone, and it's not on your way. I'll have the driver take me."
"Alright. Let's meet at three o'clock, and you can leave around two twenty."
"You've planned all of this for me! How can you be so kind, brother?!"

Since they would be meeting soon anyway, the two didn't say anything more.
Wen Yan asked the kitchen to cook her a bowl of noodles, then tidied herself up and went out.

Xinghu Park is a large park surrounding a lake with a tranquil environment.

Wen Yan doesn't need to worry about anything; she just needs to follow him. There's even water to drink when she's thirsty.
As they walked, Wen Yan told Shen Jingxiu about Jiang Wanwan.
After hearing this, Shen Jingxiu raised an eyebrow: "So you waited for me until midnight because of someone else. Are you two very close?"
"Yes, she's the first female friend I made after dumping Qiao Kexin! But I'm not asking you to help her. I don't know much about the Shen family, the Fu family, or even the Jiang family now. It's up to you to decide, brother."
