"Okay, it's settled then."
After ending the call, Wen Yan quickly and carefully packed the two reports and hair samples she had brought back from the testing agency into her bag.
She then called her bodyguard and asked him to drive the car downstairs.
About two hours later.
Wen Yan's car finally drove into an abandoned industrial park.
This is her second time visiting this place.
The first time, she was kidnapped by people hired by Fu Anxian.
It was here that she was rescued by Wen Chengcai and his disfigured friend, Third Brother.
After entering the park, Wen Yan did not have the bodyguard drive the car directly to the tin shack where Wen Cheng and her third brother lived.
Instead, they chose to get off the bus and walk.
She also specifically instructed her bodyguards to move quietly and not make too much noise.
Following her memory, the white tin shack soon appeared before Wen Yan.
She had her bodyguard wait a short distance away, while she tiptoed to the door of the small house.
The door to the cabin was not closed.
Before they even got close to Wen Yan, they could hear the sounds of something being rummaged through inside.
Immediately afterwards, a figure wearing a hat came into view from behind.
That figure from behind was clearly not Wen Chengcai.
Wen Chengcai is not that tall.
Then it can only be the third brother.
He seemed to be frantically searching for something, and he didn't even notice that Wen Yan was standing at the door staring at him for a long time.
Wen Yan didn't want to waste too much time, so she knocked on the tin door, making a rather loud noise.
Third Brother also stopped searching after hearing the sound.
However, he did not turn around immediately. Instead, he quickly took out a large mask from his pocket, put it on, and then turned back to look at Wen Yan.
When he saw Wen Yan, he was a little dazed, but more than that, he was surprised.
He quickly looked away from Wen Yan's face and asked, "Why are you here? It's a mess here. Is there something you need?"
His skin was burned, so even if his face was exposed, his expression was not visible. However, Wen Yan could see an undisguised irritation in his eyes.
She frowned and asked her third brother, "What are you looking for?"
"That's none of your business." Third Brother was clearly unwilling to answer the question.
But Wen Yan felt she knew the answer.
"Wen Chengcai is missing. You're looking for what he stole from you, right?"
Third Brother immediately looked at Wen Yan, his voice hoarse and broken: "How did you know?"
Wen Yan frowned: "You must not usually go online, right?"
"I don't have a smartphone. Have you seen Cheng Cai? Has he contacted you?"
"Yes, he not only contacted me, but also caused me a lot of trouble."
"He harmed you? Did he come to you for money? But he told me he went back to his hometown, so it seems he lied to me."
“Who says otherwise?” Wen Yan said, opening her phone’s photo album. “I came to ask you if this is what you’re looking for?”
Just as Wen Yan was about to hand the phone to her third brother, the sound of a car suddenly braking to a stop came from outside.
"Someone's coming," the third brother said, and walked towards the door.
Wen Yan turned around when she heard the voice.
Before she could react, she was suddenly pulled into a tight embrace.
The force was so great that it almost broke her nose.
"Wen Yan, you bastard!!! Why didn't you answer my calls? What use is your phone to you?! Just throw it away."
"…………" This hysterical roar almost caused Wen Yan's eardrums to be destroyed.
"Shen Jingchuan, you can speak a little louder. In the future, if I need any puncture surgery, I won't need to go to the hospital. I can just come to you directly."
"Stop being so cheeky!" Shen Jingchuan, who had rushed over in a hurry and was both anxious and angry, immediately let go of Wen Yan and gave her a few hard rubs on the top of her head.
"Such a serious thing happened, why didn't you contact us? Is my phone unreachable? I haven't received any calls or messages from you."

Wen Yan quickly took out another phone from her bag.
Upon opening the phone, she immediately apologized: "Hehe, I'm sorry, I had this phone on silent and forgot to turn the sound on, so I didn't answer your call."
She flipped through the pages casually: "Hmm, my older brother called me too. He's probably still on a business trip abroad right now."
"Bullshit! You scared me to death and I rushed back to the country overnight." Shen Jingchuan said, while cupping Wen Yan's face and turning her around.
Wen Yan blinked and suddenly realized that Shen Jingxiu was standing right next to her.
"Big brother is here too?"
Shen Jingxiu hummed in agreement, his brows furrowed. "I've been busy these past few days and haven't had time to go online. By the time I found out about this, it was already too late. I couldn't get through to you on the phone, so I contacted the bodyguard, who told us you were here."
“Yes! We just happened to be coming from the airport, so this was on our way,” Shen Jingchuan added.
"I see." Wen Yan nodded. "Then thank you both for your concern. I originally wanted to handle things myself before informing you. I hope you didn't let me interfere with your work?"
"That's not important." Shen Jingxiu walked over and stood next to Shen Jingchuan, the two brothers shielding Wen Yan behind them. "Are you here to see that Wen Chengcai?"
