Wen Yan and Shen Jingxiu spoke at the same time.
Wen Yan wanted to lend money to Shen Jingchuan, but Shen Jingxiu simply took a gift box out of the drawer and handed it to Shen Jingchuan.
Shen Jingchuan didn't stand on ceremony with his elder brother and took it from him. When he opened it, he saw that it was an expensive women's watch.
"I really envy rich people!" Shen Jingchuan exclaimed.
Shen Jingxiu chuckled: "If you come back to work right after graduation like me, then you will too."
"Never mind then, serves you right for being rich. You must have prepared this watch a long time ago, right? Who are you planning to give it to? It's not to someone you have a crush on, is it?"
“No,” Shen Jingxiu glanced at Wen Yan subconsciously, then immediately denied and explained, “I’m just being prepared.”
"So you knew this day would come?"
"Didn't you expect this?"
“Yes,” Wen Yan echoed, “You didn’t even think about this? To be honest, I expected it a long time ago, and I’ve already prepared my gift.”
Shen Jingchuan snorted and glanced at the two of them: "When did you two become allies?"
Shen Jingxiu: "It always has been."
“Exactly, aren’t you from the same country as us?” Wen Yan looked at Shen Jingchuan again. “I’ve said what I wanted to say. Can I gossip about what’s going on with you?”
"Sweetheart, don't pry into your brother's affairs. Go back to sleep now."
"Alright, see you tomorrow!"
After Wen Yan had been gone for a while, Shen Jingxiu asked Shen Jingchuan.
"Are you sure no one has died? We must be careful about this."
"I know. An eye for an eye, they asked for it. By the way, do I really smell that bad?"
Shen Jingxiu frowned slightly: "You can't smell it at all?"
"No, I didn't smell anything."
"Then you should go back and wash up quickly."
"Damn it!" Shen Jingchuan couldn't help but curse. "My handsome image is ruined."
Shen Jingxiu chuckled: "He's not quite dead, just a stinky handsome guy."
"It's cold. You're not suited to being a humorous older brother. You should stick to your icy persona."
