When Wen Yan said the first "no," the little girl felt like she was about to shatter.
She thought she had been rejected in public, but Wen Yan didn't expect that she hadn't finished speaking; her reply was actually yet to come.
The little girl's expression immediately brightened: "So it's really possible?"
Wen Yan raised an eyebrow and chuckled: "Of course it's true. How could I lie in front of so many people?"
"What if I'm a little heavy? I'm afraid you won't be able to lift me."
“I don’t think so,” Wen Yan looked the girl up and down. “You look very petite, so you must not be heavy. Would you mind telling me? It’s okay, you can put the microphone away and talk to me alone.”
As she spoke, Wen Yan had already moved closer to the little girl.
The little girl wasn't very tall; even in high heels, she looked only about 1.6 meters tall. Standing next to Wen Yan, who was 1.7 meters tall, she instantly appeared petite and delicate.
When she saw Wen Yan approaching, she quietly told her weight.
Upon hearing this, Wen Yan immediately smiled and said, "Absolutely no problem, no doubt about it. But we can't just go for it directly, because this action is actually specially designed. We have to do it this way first and then that way, so that it looks the most beautiful when we hug each other in front of the camera. Could someone please hold the microphone for us?"
Wen Yan turned around, and there stood Dai Zilin, the actress who played the princess of the Western Regions in the drama.
Dai Zilin offered her hand: "Give me the microphone, I'll hold it for you."
"Okay, thank you, Zilin." After handing over the microphone, Wen Yan began to teach the little girl the movements.
She was busy, and the viewers weren't idle either, especially the viewers in the live stream.
"Ahhh, how can there be such a perk? That girl is really something, to even make such a request!"
Look at how others are into their idols, and then look at how I am. I'm really nothing.
"But to be fair, Yan Yan really spoils her. She pays for her fans when they're abroad, and she even gives them a princess carry at the celebration party after they come back to China. When will it be my turn?"
'Honey, I'm here! I don't care anymore, I've automatically identified with the girl on stage as myself, and I won't accept any arguments against it!'
"Haha, am I the only one who thinks my husband's sister's words were too confident? Although the girl on stage looks petite and delicate, this isn't filming. Without other staff and equipment to assist her, can she really handle it?"
'Fine! I won't stand for it if anyone says my husband's sister isn't good enough! She already said it's no big deal, I trust her 100%.'
"No, aren't you all looking at Brother Chang'an and his female fans? Why aren't you looking at the little princess from the Western Regions next to him? The little princess's eyes are practically brimming with love for Brother Chang'an."
'Yes, that's right, who would understand? It's one thing for your crush to hug another girl, but then you have to ask her to hold the microphone for you. It's heartbreaking, exhausting, and your heart might stop beating.'
"But I think you've got it wrong. The one who should feel heartbroken, exhausted, and like their heart has stopped beating is the male lead of this drama, our poor Prince Jing, Gu Xiran. After his wife dressed as a man, he not only gained a princess as a rival in the drama, but also almost lost his leading role off-screen."
'Hahahaha, the little princess breaking apart is hilarious +100, the male lead breaking apart is hilarious +'
Prince Jing: Oh no, I've suddenly lost my right to choose a spouse!
Brother Chang'an: Unexpectedly granted priority in choosing a spouse within a hundred miles.
'Chang'an Girl: So you're all stopping playing with me?'
Hahaha, I'm going to die laughing at all of your comments tonight! Can you guys please stop being so funny?
While the comments were full of jokes, Wen Yan and her young female fans were almost ready.
The host was responsible for controlling the pace of the event: "Now we can begin, right?"
Wen Yan nodded: "The movements have been explained almost completely, but..."
Since there was no sound, the host immediately handed the microphone to Wen Yan.
Wen Yan had no choice but to repeat herself: "We've already explained the movements pretty well, and I think we should be able to get it right in one take. But our little sister is wearing a short skirt today, and I think if I pick her up and spin her around, she might accidentally expose herself."
“Oh, right,” the host just realized the problem. “What do we do now? We have several cameras here, and it’s a live broadcast. How about we switch to Zilin? She’s wearing a costume dress today.”
However, before the host could finish speaking, Wen Yan interrupted her: "No need for that. It's my sister's wish after all, and I just agreed in front of so many people. Actually, I have a way, but we need to wait a little while. We should have enough time, right? It'll only take a few minutes."
The host glanced at the time, then nodded: "A few minutes shouldn't be a problem."
"That's good. Let's let this young lady go down and change her clothes first." Wen Yan said, while pointing the way to the fan girl. "Do you see the girl in the yellow hoodie downstairs? That's my assistant. She'll take you to change."
After the little girl left the stage, there were no more performances on stage for a while.
The host originally planned to talk about something else, but after looking at the script... there were indeed things to talk about, but if those topics were brought up now, it would disrupt the rhythm of the whole event.
Wen Yan noticed the host's slight predicament and immediately came to the rescue: "By the way, are there really no more plush toys? Was the one I just threw out the last one?"
"Probably not, there are probably more, but the time for the interactive session is limited."
