But they got one thing wrong.
They thought they were arguing with Wen Yan's fans, but in fact, their remarks offended the entire fanbase of the drama and the original novel of "The Legend of Chang'an".
Fans of the show immediately started tearing each other apart.
"Are you guys stupid? Is your brain filled with water from your bladder? Who said it started strong but flopped? It broke 100 million views in five days without any decent promotion, and now it has accumulated 3 billion views. You're telling me this show flopped? What about your sister? What are her stats?"
"This is hilarious! Your sister's female-centric drama was promoted and advertised with buying trending topics, prominent homepage images, and pop-up recommendations from the very beginning. And what was the result? The viewership and ratings data from last year are clear as day. If you're blind, I'll have your phone's voice reader read it to you!"
"Oh, and by the way, from now on, this will be the standard for your sister's dramas to flop. If they don't even reach this number, then they don't even qualify as flops, and they should pack their bags and get out of the entertainment industry as soon as possible!"
'I really can't stand it anymore. I'm a fan of both the original novel and the drama. Fans of Wen Yan, please don't come here. Just stand behind us book fans and drama fans and watch. We'll fight it out.'
"Saying this book has a terrible plot is laughable. It's been finished for eight years, and its subscriptions and popularity have consistently ranked in the top three, far surpassing the one adapted from your sister's book. We didn't mean to belittle any other novels or TV series, but you guys have really gone too far."
"Your show was a hit last year, and a year has passed. Every time another show becomes popular, you start tearing each other apart. Is that interesting? Some drama fans are incredibly sharp-tongued, and they have plenty of time to spare. They'd rather stay up all night than not argue with a particular fan group, effectively defeating magic with magic.
In the end, these argumentative fans got scared by the drama's fans and sheepishly left the "Chang'an Biography" page.
However, instead of stopping while they were ahead, they turned their attention to Wen Yan's trending topic next door.
"It's a pity that they chose Wen Yan to play such a good IP as 'The Legend of Chang'an.' She's going to ruin the show's reputation sooner or later."
'This is clearly a female-centric drama, but she's currently using her "husband's older sister" persona to generate buzz, which seems like she's planning to dump all the other male characters in the show.'
'Haha, I've never seen an actress like this before. She tried to create on-screen couples with various men without success, so she's resorting to all sorts of outrageous tactics to conquer the female fan market. Truly, she's unprecedented!'
'Oh, I almost forgot, she and her agent have an ambiguous relationship. This might not be solid proof, but she seems to really enjoy playing husbands. If she likes playing husbands so much, she should probably stop playing female roles and just stick to playing men.'

'Pink Bubbles Has Gone': 'You really just spout nonsense, attacking me without any basis, huh? All you talk about is getting paid, but I think you're the one who's been paid!'

But those drama fans who are good at talking are different.
