The Minister of War was obviously unconvinced, "Where did you get this from?"
"Your monthly salary is so little, and you don't own any business, so where did you get so much money?"
The Minister of Revenue hummed softly, raised his chin slightly, and put his hands on his hips, "The little princess gave it to me!"
"Oh no, the little princess gave it to the soldiers and refugees!"
The Minister of War keenly noticed the familiar words and asked, "Is this a gift from the little princess to the soldiers?"
"yes."
The Minister of Revenue rolled his eyes and asked, "Why else would I invite you here?"
"The little princess allocated some money to provide extra meals for the soldiers."
"Didn't we allocate some money to buy cotton-padded clothes for the soldiers before?"
"Yes!" The Minister of War suddenly shouted, "The little princess is wise!"
The Minister of War knelt down in the direction of the Imperial Palace and kowtowed. "I thank the little princess for her devotion to the soldiers."
The Minister of Revenue was so frightened by his roar that he trembled and patted his chest, "Oh, you old man, you scared me to death."
"What are you doing?"
"If you want to kneel, go kneel in front of the little princess, not in my house. If someone doesn't know, they might think I did something to you!"
The Minister of War had tears in his eyes, "You are right, I will go and thank the little princess."
Having said that, he was about to leave.
The Minister of Revenue quickly called out to him, "Hey, wait!"
"Take this money with you."
"It's for your military department."
"Remember to distribute it and buy more rice and flour for the soldiers. The little princess has ordered that anyone who dares to embezzle even a single cent of this money will be beheaded!"
The Minister of War turned around with a serious face and said, "Don't worry, if anyone dares to embezzle, there's no need for the little princess to do anything. I will kill that person first!"
He wanted to see who dared to be corrupt in the Ministry of War!
