Master Wu Chen bowed slightly to Empress Xian.
Concubine Xian nodded, "Okay, I'll take you there."
"No problem."
Master Wu Chen smiled lightly and turned to leave.
Less than a quarter of an hour after he left, Emperor Dewu came over. He was coming down from court. Concubine Xian quickly stood up to greet him, "Your Majesty, Xi'er just woke up."
Emperor Dewu nodded slightly and walked towards Yuchi Xi. She had just finished drinking milk and looked up at Emperor Dewu.

He picked up Yuchi Xi and asked, "Were you frightened by the loud thunder last night, Xi'er?"
Concubine Xian paused as she was pouring water and chuckled, "No."
"Xi'er slept soundly last night."

Emperor Dewu did not ask any further questions, which made Empress Xian a little confused.
What she didn't know was that Emperor Dewu had already guessed that the person who caused such a spectacle last night was Xier.
