Shao Chongshan said dismissively.
"Smack!"
Lin Yuxin didn't say anything, just looked at him, then suddenly stood up, took a step forward, and slapped him.
The loud noise filled the entire hall, startling several officials nearby, who all stared at Lin Yuxin in disbelief.
Shao Chongshan pressed his tongue against his aching cheek, gritted his teeth, and glared at Lin Yuxin, demanding:
“Princess, are you trying to break ties with me? You assaulted a court official. I will report you to the Emperor when I get back.”
"Ha! Lord Shao is truly remarkable! The Emperor himself appointed me as an Imperial Envoy, sending you all to assist this Princess. Now you not only disobey this Princess, but also show contempt for her? What? Do you have objections to the Emperor's decree? Or do you have objections to this Princess?"
Lin Yuxin spoke sharply, taking a step forward with each word, and Shao Chongshan was so frightened by her imposing manner that he retreated repeatedly.

However, everyone obediently sat down and waited for Lin Yuxin to speak.
"My lords, I have summoned you here to discuss the current drought situation. What are your thoughts? I would like to hear them."
Seeing that they had all sat down, Lin Yuxin asked.
Wang Feng hesitated for a moment before asking first:
"What is the Princess's opinion?"
Lin Yuxin looked at the old fox and sneered inwardly.
[That lecherous bastard, so cunning, he actually managed to get the ball back to her!]
"What I think is not important. I just want to see what you all think."
