Lin Yuxin frowned and asked.
"Xue Ji's maid has returned to the Northern Frontier to report, but she said she will come back to take Li Xiaochen's head."
King Qiling frowned as he spoke.
Lin Yuxin frowned upon hearing this, a murderous glint flashing in her eyes. Why did everyone want to kill her Li Xiaochen? Were they tired of living?
When will she be back?
Lin Yuxin looked at Qiling King lying on the bed with a blank expression, but her tone was very gentle and unchanged.
"She has been gone for seven days. According to the journey, she should be back in the next two days."
King Qiling replied again.
Seven days? That means Li Xiaochen left the day before he was trapped! He probably thought Li Xiaochen was already his, so he went back to report the good news.
If she were to return, she would likely know that King Qiling has been captured, and she would definitely bring more men with her.
Lin Yuxin narrowed her eyes slightly, then looked at Qiling King and snapped her fingers.

Lin Yuxin stopped looking at him, turned around and walked out with Xiao Hao.
After leaving the prison cell, Lin Yuxin went straight to Li Xiaochen's room. After a few days of rest, Li Xiaochen's injuries had almost healed, and he was able to get out of bed and walk around.
However, Lin Yuxin still told him to rest more and forbade him from doing anything.
Therefore, Li Xiaochen could only start working at night after Lin Yuxin had gone back to rest.
