Lin Xiong'an didn't believe it at all; he didn't believe a woman could remove him from his official position!
"I may not have that ability, but don't forget who my father is. He's the Grand General Who Protects the Nation. He can just report you to the Emperor."
"They say you colluded with the Crown Prince and Prince Rui. What you've done is enough to kill you several times over. Do you think the Crown Prince and Prince Rui will still help you when they find out you're playing both sides?"
Zhao Hanyue stood up, walked to Lin Xiong'an, leaned close to his ear, and whispered something.

Lin Xiong'an broke out in a cold sweat as he listened to Zhao Hanyue's words. How did she know? He had done all this very discreetly; there was no way she could have found out.
"What are you talking about? What do you mean by drugging me? Weren't you the one who pulled me away?"
Lin Xiong'an began to play dumb.
"It doesn't matter if you don't admit it, it's been so many years anyway, I don't care anymore. But you're going to write this divorce agreement, otherwise I'll let you know what happens when you offend me, Zhao Hanyue."
Seeing his cowardly appearance, Zhao Hanyue found it pointless and began to tell him to leave.
"Alright, you can go now!"

Lin Xiong'an shouted guiltily, then ran outside.

Zhao Hanyue didn't want to hide it, and it was difficult to find out anything about what happened fifteen years ago. After so long, her bodyguards only found out that someone had deliberately drugged her back then, but they couldn't find anything else.
However, her probing just now made her guess who was behind it, but it doesn't matter anymore. As long as the divorce is successful, she will have plenty of time to deal with them later.
“Mother, the other things that weren’t found don’t matter. As long as you divorce him, you can start a new life.”
