Shufang glared at Lin Yuxin a few times and then left. She needed to go back and think carefully about how to win over Xiao Chen. Once she won over Xiao Chen, what was there for her to be afraid of that woman?
Aunt Mu then came out, unaware of the awkward atmosphere. She only noticed that Shufang had already left, and muttered to herself:
"This girl, why don't you sit a little longer? Never mind, I'll just take this basket to them myself later."

Upon hearing that seafood was to be made, Lin Yuxin disregarded all the unwanted advances and scheming women, her eyes lighting up as she eagerly followed Aunt Mu into the kitchen, talking as they went.
Only Li Xiaochen and Xiao Hao remained, staring at each other.
Xiao Hao looked at Li Xiaochen with disdain; this man was actually causing trouble for his sister!
"Stop causing trouble for your sister!"
Xiao Hao said with a blank face.
Li Xiaochen raised an eyebrow, looked at this brat, and said calmly:
"I thought that, given your suspicions about her, you wouldn't treat her well anymore!"
Xiao Hao's face turned pale instantly. How could he have known that he suspected his sister's motives for saving him!
"You're talking nonsense!"
Xiao Hao growled in a low voice! He didn't want to admit that the man had hit the nail on the head, his unease!
He's still just a child; he can't hide his emotions yet! They're all written on his face!
Li Xiaochen sneered and said calmly:
"Whether I'm lying or not, you know in your heart what kind of person your sister is. You've lived with her for so long, you should know that even if her motives for approaching you weren't pure, she genuinely wanted what was best for you and hoped for your well-being."
"I don't want you to waste her efforts. Also, you need to understand that if you weren't in that position and were just an ordinary person, she would have helped you too. And if you were just an ordinary person, she wouldn't have gone to such lengths to plan all this for you!"
"That's all I can say. Think about it yourself! If you still harbor resentment towards her, I will not allow you to appear around her again!"
Every word Li Xiaochen said was out of consideration for Lin Yuxin's position. He didn't care whose son Xiaohao was, but he wouldn't allow the child to have any ulterior motives towards Xinxin.
This is very dangerous for Xin Xin, after all, she really treats Xiao Hao like a younger brother and is taking care of him and making plans for him. He doesn't want Xin Xin's efforts to be in vain.

Aunt Mu picked up a piece of stir-fried octopus and held it up to Lin Yuxin's eyes, saying kindly.
"good!"

It seems that some foods cannot be judged by their appearance.
While the two of them were wolfing down their food, Li Xiaochen ate very elegantly. However, after he recovered, Aunt Mu cooked a lot of seafood for him, so he knew how skilled she was at cooking.

Even Aunt Mu gained a new understanding of her cooking skills.
"I never thought seafood could be cooked like this, it's so delicious! We used to just boil it in water and then eat it with some dipping sauce. We also stir-fried it, but it wasn't as flavorful as this."
Aunt Mu ate with relish and sighed.
