Chapter 213 Beachcombing



"What...what do you want to do?"

The village women were intimidated by Lin Yuxin's imposing manner and asked in trembling voices.

Lin Yuxin simply stretched out her hand and waved it in front of them, looking at them with disgust as if they were looking at something dirty, and said without holding back:

"Nothing much? Just smelling how ugly that place is, like a leaky outhouse! Ugh! It stinks!"

As he spoke, he took another step back, an action that thoroughly enraged the three middle-aged women.

"You bitch...!"

One of them, enraged, stepped forward and raised his hand to slap Lin Yuxin across the face.

Li Xiaochen noticed something was wrong and quickly walked over with Aunt Mu.

"Cuiying, what are you doing? Bullying Yuxin, a mere girl, have you no shame?"

Seeing that something was wrong, Aunt Mu strode over, stood in front of Lin, blocked Cuiying's hand, and questioned her.

“He Lian, take a good look at yourself. Isn’t this fake daughter-in-law of yours going too far? She picked up all the things, so what are we supposed to pick up? What’s wrong with us saying a few words to her?”

One of the women, seeing Aunt Mu's aggressive demeanor, frowned, lowered her blocked hand, and began to accuse her.

"This sea is so big, and it's just this one area. My girl has finished picking them all, so what? You can go to other places, it's the same. What, you can't pick them all up as well as my girl, so you think you're right? A few old people bullying a little girl? Have you no shame?"

Aunt Mu didn't buy into that. She was always extremely protective of her own and never suffered a loss. Even after her son died all these years ago, she and her husband had never been bullied, simply because she had a bad temper.

Everyone in the village knew that they couldn't get anything good out of Aunt Mu, so they wouldn't bother her.
