Lin Yuxin felt sorry for Li Xiaochen after seeing this. As a prince, there was no need for him to put up with this woman. If he was unhappy, he could just slap her!
Lin Yuxin's gaze towards Shufang turned somewhat unfriendly, but only for a moment. The next second, Lin Yuxin smiled and said to Li Xiaochen:

Lin Yuxin asked with a smile, but her eyes were devoid of warmth as she looked at Shufang.
Seeing that Lin Yuxin had already drunk the wine, Shufang knew it was unrealistic to come back now, but if she could control Lin Yuxin for the time being, that would be acceptable. So she smiled softly and said:
“I’m just a country girl with no hobbies. I help my mother with chores every day, unlike Yuxin, who looks like a rich young lady and has been served by maids since she was a child.”
Shufang spoke gently, but only she knew how jealous she was of Lin Yuxin's good fortune.
"Oh well, there's nothing I can do about it. Who told me to be born into a good family? I have a good mother who gave me a comfortable life and found me a husband who is a good match for me. You have to accept your fate. If it's not meant to be yours, you can't force it!"
Lin Yuxin spoke in a languid tone, but her words were enough to make Shufang stiffen and turn pale with anger.
She understood the implication in Lin Yuxin's words: she and Xiao Chen were not a good match, and it was something she couldn't force!
But so what! If we don't ask, who knows? Besides, she knew Xiao Chen first, and this woman interfered and now she thinks she's right?
A flash of determination crossed Shufang's face. She forced a stiff smile and said:
“Sister Yuxin is right. I have learned these principles from her today.”
Seeing her like that, Lin Yuxin stopped paying attention to her. Since she dared to use witchcraft, she must have a backup plan. She would just wait and see.
The rest of the group didn't say much, except for Aunt Mu, who seemed oblivious to the situation, who would occasionally speak up. Lin Yuxin would chime in with a few words, while Xiao Hao remained silent throughout, knowing which woman had tampered with the soup, and thus never touched it.
Lin Yuxin's eyes darted around, she picked up a bowl, filled it with water, handed it to Shufang, and said earnestly:
"Shufang, this soup is for you. You must drink it. When Achen was injured, if it weren't for your help in taking care of him, his injury might not have healed so quickly. So, you will accept my gratitude, right?"
Shufang's face stiffened as she looked at the bowl of soup Lin Yuxin had picked up. Taking it or not taking it seemed wrong. After a long pause, a smile finally forced a smile as she said:
"Sister Yuxin, you're too kind. I did all this voluntarily, so there's no need to thank me!"
Lin Yuxin held the soup bowl without moving, just staring at Shufang, but her eyes grew increasingly sad, and her eyes reddened.
"My sister won't take my soup. Does she not like me? I just arrived with Ah Chen and wanted to accompany him to see Aunt Mu and the others. I didn't expect to upset my sister Shufang. She won't even take the soup I served. I'm so upset! Waaah!"
As soon as Lin Yuxin finished speaking, tears welled up in her eyes and fell.

Although Aunt Mu didn't know why Lin Yuxin was crying, she knew that Yuxin was a guest and also Xiao Chen's wife, so she couldn't be wronged here.
