Chapter 288 The Chaotic Prince Gong's Mansion

"Alright, Mother, we should leave now. This Prince's mansion is quite lively right now! They don't have time to cause us any trouble."

Lin Yuxin didn't give Zhao Hanyya a chance to speak, and pulled Zhao Hanyya outside, talking as they walked.

Lin Yuxin didn't hesitate at all this time. She pulled Zhao Hanya out of the palace. On the way, they encountered several ladies and young ladies who were running out in a panic.

"Oh dear! Madam Liu, why are you leaving? How is the Princess Consort doing?"

Lin Yuxin's eyes darted around, and she leaned over in alarm to inquire.

"Oh dear! Are we just going to stay here and feed the tigers? The soldiers in the Prince's Palace can't do anything with that beast, and now even the Princess is hiding somewhere. Are we just going to stay here and wait to die?"

Lady Liu, wife of the Minister of Works, grabbed her daughter and said in a panic, then ran away without saying anything more.

Lin Yuxin smiled and chuckled. She really wanted to go see her, but her mother was still there, so she had to send her mother back first!

Lin Yuxin pulled Zhao Hanyya out of the palace and then asked Zhao Yi to take her mother home.

Aren't you going back?

Zhao Hanyue asked, puzzled.

"Mother, don't worry, I won't cause any trouble. I'm going to the palace. I made a major discovery at Prince Gong's Mansion today and need to have a chat with the Emperor."

Lin Yuxin comforted her.

Upon hearing that she was going to the palace, Zhao Hanyue stopped asking questions and obediently followed Zhao Yi back.

"Xueying, take me to see the excitement for a while before we go into the palace!"

Lin Yuxin gave the instructions to Xueying.

Since she doesn't know any light-body skills, she can only rely on her subordinates to carry her.

Xueying grabbed Lin Yuxin's arm and leaped upwards. In no time, the two of them were sprawled on the wall of Prince Gong's Mansion, or more precisely, the wall of Furong Garden.

Looking at the commotion in the garden, Lin Yuxin was very pleased with herself. The princess and Shuhe had disappeared, and most of the ladies and young women in the garden had also run away.

The guards who came this time were specifically there to catch the tiger. But this tiger was no ordinary tiger. Not only was it intelligent, but it had also drunk the immortal dew from Lin Yuxin's space and had stayed there for so long that it had long since developed its intelligence.

So, with just a glance from Lin Yuxin, the tiger knew what to do! It would be very difficult for these guards to catch it!

The guard tried to step forward and chop at the tiger's back in a sneak attack, but the tiger seemed to have eyes in its back, and with a sweep of its tail, it sent the guard flying.

It opened its jaws wide and pounced on another guard, scaring him so much that he wet himself. The tiger, smelling the scent, retreated a few steps in disgust!

This human is too sloppy, it doesn't want him!

Just as the tiger was having a great time, Prince Gong's mansion returned with a troop of soldiers and, at a single command, surrounded the tiger.

"Seize this beast! How dare he cause trouble in my Prince Gong's residence! I'll skin him alive!"

Prince Gong looked at the tiger that was still scaring people and said fiercely.

He originally intended to have the princess control Zhao Hanyue today, as he also wanted to make use of her. However, a servant came to report that there was a tiger in the mansion.

Prince Gong initially didn't believe it, but later the princess's personal nanny came to report it, so he brought his men over, only to find that there really was such a big tiger causing trouble in his mansion, ruining his plans.

How could he not be angry?

He had thought he had the throne in his grasp more than a decade ago, but the emperor ended up getting the better deal.

He had originally intended to use the rumors surrounding Zhao Hanyue, but since this woman was so foolish as to have been defiled, she could not enter his Prince Gong's mansion.

As a result, he had not found a way to obtain the legendary white jade after all these years, so he had no choice but to set his sights on Zhao Hanyue again.

Nothing was accomplished today, and the mansion was a complete mess. How could he not be angry?

The prince and his men surrounded the tiger. Sensing the danger, the tiger became even more agile and restless.

The soldiers tried their best to capture the tiger, but no matter how they surrounded it, it was no use. Every time they were about to surround the tiger, it would break through the encirclement and run to another place to cause trouble.

Wherever it jumped, almost nothing remained intact. The entire Hibiscus Garden was nearly destroyed, and all the precious flowers, plants, and animals were frightened away and disappeared.

Moreover, this tiger was too big, and its strength was beyond what an ordinary person could withstand.

This tiger doesn't bite, but its big claws are no joke. One swipe of its claw is something most people can't withstand. If these soldiers are hit by one swipe, they basically can't get up!

Seeing that the commotion had gone far enough, Lin Yuxin put her hand to her mouth and whistled.

Upon hearing the sound, the tiger roared to the sky:

"Awoo!!"

Then, dodging the sword thrusting from behind, he leaped twice, soaring onto the roof and disappearing from the spot.

"Where...did it go?!"

Where's the tiger?

The soldiers were stunned by what they saw. They rubbed their eyes in disbelief and looked again, but it was still nothing. Had the tiger simply vanished? Or had it escaped?

Are tigers these days some kind of supernatural being? You can't hit them, you can't catch them, they can jump so high to escape, and then just disappear on the spot?!

"A bunch of useless trash, hurry up and chase after them for me!!"

Upon seeing this, Prince Gong immediately roared!

Didn't you see those damned beasts ran away? What are you still standing here for? Is it a good look?

The soldiers then realized what was happening and rushed outside.

Prince Gong looked at the destroyed garden and was so heartbroken he jumped up and down in frustration!

Suddenly he realized something and quickly led his men toward the artificial hill.

When he went inside to check, it was completely empty! There was nothing there!

"It's over! It's all over!!! My weapons! They're all gone! Aaaaaah!! *Thud!*"

Prince Gong looked at the empty underground chamber, overwhelmed with grief. He tasted blood in his throat and couldn't help but vomit.

After a long while, Prince Gong finally managed to leave the secret room, despite his broken body, only to hear the steward report:

"Your Highness, something terrible has happened! All the valuables in the manor are gone, everything is gone, even the food in the kitchen is gone!"

"What's the meaning?"

Prince Gong hadn't yet realized what the steward meant by that.

"Your Highness, all the valuables in the manor—gold, silver, banknotes, calligraphy and paintings—are gone! Even the things sprinkled with gold dust are gone! The food in the kitchen is all gone too! Not a single copper coin can be found!"

The butler said with a pained expression, "Although these are not his, he is in charge of them. If they are lost, he will be fully responsible. What should I do?"

Upon hearing this, Prince Gong's vision went black, and he fell backward.

The Prince Gong's Mansion is in complete chaos because of Lin Yuxin's meddling.

Lin Yuxin, however, put away the tiger and headed straight for the palace.

Inside the Imperial Study.

"I heard you want to see me?"

The Emperor looked at Lin Yuxin with a puzzled expression and asked, "This girl never comes to the palace without a reason. She must have something to bother me about again!"
