Lin Yuxin was taken aback. Was this a pretext to target her?
She looked at the lady, who was dressed in a maroon dress that looked rather luxurious, but her face was full of arrogance, which added a touch of ferocity to her delicate features.
"This...Your Highness? Perhaps you haven't asked who I am? Are you sure you want to cause trouble for me here?"
Lin Yuxin raised an eyebrow and asked softly.
"I don't care who you are. How dare you be so disrespectful to me and disregard imperial authority! You deserve to be punished! Guards, seize this woman! Slap her fifty times!"
Consort Lan completely ignored Lin Yuxin's words. All the women in the palace were the Emperor's people, and this woman was not among those whom the Emperor had officially appointed.
Even though she entered the palace suddenly, she still had to abide by the palace rules, so Consort Lan didn't take Lin Yuxin seriously at all.
Besides, this woman is the one with the most rampant rumors in the palace lately, and she's fallen into her hands today. How could she possibly let go of this opportunity to teach her a lesson and let her know what happens when you seduce the emperor?
As soon as Consort Lan finished speaking, two palace maids stepped forward from behind her and walked aggressively toward Lin Yuxin.
Lin Yuxin stood still, watching them approach without fear. However, she opened her mouth and said to Eunuch Luo:
"Eunuch Luo, are you sure you want me to be beaten by Consort Lan? If anything happens to your Emperor, it won't be my problem!"
Eunuch Luo was originally watching the show from the sidelines, but he also wanted to make Lin Yuxin suffer a bit. This woman was too arrogant and didn't respect the Emperor at all.
However, these were not things that a servant like him could handle, which is why he didn't step in to help when Consort Lan wanted to deflate her arrogance!

Two palace maids reached out simultaneously. One grabbed Lin Yuxin's hand, while the other, standing opposite Lin Yuxin, raised her hand and slapped her across the face.
Seeing how useless Eunuch Luo was, Lin Yuxin's eyes instantly turned cold. She curled her lips, her hands were tied behind her back, but her fingers could move. She quickly pulled out a needle with her left hand and stuck it into the hand of the palace maid behind her.

The palace maid felt a sharp pain in her hand and quickly pulled it back.
Just as the needle was inserted, Lin Yuxin tilted her head back to avoid the slap that was about to come down, followed by a loud bang.

Consort Lan was shocked to see that Lin Yuxin dared to resist and even hit her people. She pointed at Lin Yuxin for a long time.
Lin Yuxin stood up, rubbed her numb left hand, and slowly walked forward to stand in front of Lan Fei. Her gaze was sharp, and her aura was lowered, like a drawn sword, a martial god who would kill gods and demons alike.

"You! You vile woman, how dare you slap my face! Guards, seize her! I'll grind her bones to dust!!!"
Consort Lan roared in fury, "You have no dignity as an imperial consort at all!"
As Consort Lan roared, the servants around her finally reacted and rushed forward to grab Lin Yuxin.
Just then, hoarse roars and groans were heard from inside the house:

Those outside heard it and shuddered in unison, partly out of fear that the emperor's anger would reach them, and partly out of embarrassment at the suggestive sounds coming from inside.
"Miss Lin, please go inside quickly! The Emperor is summoning you!"
At this moment, Eunuch Luo came out and respectfully addressed Lin Yuxin.
Lin Yuxin gave him a cold look. This bastard had just watched her get beaten up and asked her for help, but he had only given her a perfunctory response. She would remember this grudge.
She smiled, raised her hand to pat Eunuch Luo's shoulder, and whispered:
"I didn't expect Eunuch Luo to be such a good dog! He's not even worried about the Emperor's life?"
Eunuch Luo's face froze instantly. He knew Lin Yuxin was referring to what had just happened, but the Emperor needed Lin Yuxin now, so he could only pretend he knew nothing and respectfully bow his head:
"Miss Lin is joking. The Emperor's life is more valuable than the lives of us servants. Please come in!"
Lin Yuxin didn't waste any more words with him. She had just given him itching powder, and he would be in for a rough time.
She took two steps toward the door, then, as if remembering something, walked back to Consort Lan and said:
"Look, you've been guarding here all night, and I'm still faster than you. Goodbye, Consort Lan, I'm going in to see your Emperor!"
Lin Yuxin was determined to infuriate this girl. How dare she let someone hit her?! She deserved to be so angry!
