It was only when the prison guards brought her food for the first time that she realized something was wrong, because her meals were not like those of the other prisoners, which consisted of nothing but rice porridge and a steamed bun.
She eats three dishes and a soup at every meal, and never has the same dish twice.
She knew that the head jailer was one of Li Xiaochen's moles planted in the Zhao Kingdom's palace.
However, since the jailer didn't reveal his identity, she pretended not to know.
Lin Yuxin was fast asleep, while the rats were digging their hole at full speed.
Those two mice found a dozen more mice and dug all morning. Now the hole is quite impressive. If they dig for another afternoon, they should be able to escape tonight.

After the jailer left, Lin Yuxin began to dress herself up, rolling around on the ground several times until she was filthy. Then she started rubbing the stuff the jailer had given her onto herself.
Before long, a horrific image of someone who had been tortured was revealed. Lin Yuxin didn't have a mirror, so she didn't know what she looked like, but she knew it certainly wasn't good-looking.
