Nie Yuan and Lao Hei exchanged a glance, both seeing calculation in each other's eyes. Nie Yuan turned to Lin Yuxin, nodded, and said:
"Sure, we were going to take you back anyway. We'll just tell the chief when we get back. There are lots of treasures in Jipu Village, you'll definitely love them."
Once you come into Jipu Village with them, won't they be in charge? This woman won't even have anywhere to run away!
So Nie Yuan and Lao Hei both felt that they should keep her calm and take her back first.
"That's good. Now you all can get some sleep! I have something to do, I'll come find you later!"
Lin Yuxin nodded in satisfaction, then reached out and patted Nie Yuan's face, saying...
"You! You won't let us go?"
Old Hei was dumbfounded. Not only was he dumbfounded, but even Nie Yuan was dumbfounded. Shouldn't the deal have been agreed upon and the person released? Why is this woman not playing by the rules?
"Who said I was going to let you go? You guys just stay here and get some sleep! I'll be back in a bit!"
Lin Yuxin stood up and walked outside.
The men behind her could only watch Lin Yuxin's retreating figure with anger and helplessness. Before long, all of them fainted.
Lin Yuxin left the cave and went straight up the mountain, calling out to Zhizhi to lead the way.
She needs to go up the mountain to collect some poisonous herbs, as there are too few poisonous items in the space, and she has already used up most of them.
The rest were mostly medicinal herbs. She was going to Jipu Village, a place full of wolves and tigers, so she had to prepare a lot for self-defense.
With Zhizhi leading the way, Lin Yuxin didn't take any wrong turns, and the things she found were all highly poisonous. She planned to take some time to refine them in her spatial dimension.
On her way back, Lin Yuxin passed by the big tree near the cave entrance. She thought for a moment, realizing she had to leave tomorrow and hadn't even had a chance to leave a message for Li Xiaochen! She didn't want him to get so anxious that he might do something bad!
So Lin Yuxin took out a handkerchief from her bosom and a charcoal pencil from her spatial storage. She didn't write anything, but just wrote the three characters "Jipu Village".
Just as I was thinking about how to hide, I heard a roar coming from inside the cave!
"Ah! I'm going to kill that woman!!"
That's Lao Hei's voice. It seems they've woken up and should be able to move.
Lin Yuxin raised an eyebrow, casually stuffed the handkerchief in her arms, and then walked in with a smile on her face.
"Hey! Everyone's awake? How are you feeling?"
"You bastard, you're finally back! I'm going to kill you today!!"
Old Hei picked up his sword, staggered to his feet, and stabbed at Lin Yuxin.
He was furious. He, a bandit, had been tricked by a woman. He couldn't swallow this insult and was determined to get his revenge today!
He certainly had a lot of presence, but considering his drunken state and unsteady gait, he wasn't really that dangerous.
Lin Yuxin looked at the man who walked unsteadily but had a fierce expression, calmly took out another treasure from her bosom, and said in a low voice:
"Come on, if you don't manage to hurt me today, I'll admit defeat. I have plenty of treasures on me. What I gave you earlier was a sleeping potion, but what I'm holding now is my secret weapon. If I use it, you'll all die. Do you believe me?"
Upon hearing this, Lao Hei's murderous aura instantly dissipated by half, and he was so frightened that he stopped in his tracks! Looking at what she was holding, he frowned for a long time. Seeing that Lin Yuxin didn't move, he thought that this woman was playing tricks on them again.
"Why don't you believe me! Want to give it a try?"
Lin Yuxin noticed the confusion on Lao Hei's face, moved the things in her hands closer to them, and asked.
"If you're so capable, then poison us. We'll take you down with us."
Looking at the little thing in Lin Yuxin's hand, Lao Hei decided to give it a try. He didn't believe that a woman like her could have much ability. They were probably just lucky to be drugged earlier!
Now that they are on guard, they are unlikely to suffer another defeat.
Thinking of this, Lao Hei's face turned fierce again, and he raised his hand to chop at Lin Yuxin.
Seeing that the man was serious, Lin Yuxin disregarded everything else, pulled the trigger of the smoke grenade in her hand, and threw it at Lao Hei.
Old Hei was hit squarely in the face by a smoke bomb. The pain made him quickly change direction as he swung his sword, which fell to the ground. He instinctively caught the object that had hit his face.
He picked up the thing Lin Yuxin threw at him, and just as he was about to examine its power, the thing in his hand began to emit thick smoke, which hit him directly in the face.
Old Hei, a grown man, was rendered speechless by this, and his eyes were suddenly stung by the snot, causing tears to stream down his face.
"Cough cough cough! You...you bitch...what have you done?"
Old Hei started coughing violently from the fumes and hurriedly threw down what he was holding, but it landed right behind a rock at the very back of the cave, out of their reach.
So as more and more smoke billowed from the smoke bombs, even Nie Yuan and his companions were suffering terribly. This wasn't poison, but it was worse than poison!
They can barely walk now, how could they possibly run away?
Lin Yuxin ran out of the cave and looked at the eight big men inside, who were trembling and bumping into each other with their eyes closed. She was in a great mood. It seemed that her smokescreen was very successful and she felt no guilt at all when using it.
Lin Yuxin ignored them and walked back to the big tree, starting to dig a hole. She needed to leave some clues for Li Xiaochen, otherwise who would rescue her? Who would help her move the stolen money?
So she thought of burying the message underground. Given Li Xiaochen's intelligence, he would definitely seek help from the black bear beside Cheng Tinghao, and it would only be a matter of time before he found this place.
