Li Xiaochen looked at her with amusement. He didn't know why this girl loved money so much. She already had so much treasure, but she still couldn't resist money when she saw silver and jewelry!
"Alright! Have you seen enough? They'll all be yours eventually anyway, are you afraid they'll run away?"
Li Xiaochen joked with a smile.

Lin Yuxin watched as he slowly became nervous, a thin layer of sweat appearing on his forehead. She smiled, withdrew one hand, and placed it on Li Xiaochen's cheek, lightly touching his face with her index finger, from his forehead to the tip of his nose, and then...!
Suddenly, Li Xiaochen abruptly raised his hand and grabbed Lin Yuxin's restless hand, gritting his teeth as he said:
"Lin Yuxin, don't play with fire. Do you really think I have that much self-control?"

As Lin Yuxin spoke, she gently pulled down with her other hand, and Li Xiaochen's lips landed steadily on Lin Yuxin's lips.

After a long while, Li Xiaochen gently released Lin Yuxin, rested his head on her forehead, and smiled with a satisfied expression.
Lin Yuxin, however, looked breathless. She glared at Li Xiaochen. Was this really his first time kissing? How could he be so skilled? She almost thought she was going to drown in this kiss.
"Are you done yet? Let's go!"
Lin Yuxin raised her hand and gently patted Li Xiaochen, indicating that they could go up.
Li Xiaochen pursed his lips and lowered his head, looking at Lin Yuxin's ruthless expression. He found it amusing! This girl!
I wanted to hug her a little longer, but I knew we'd already wasted too much time today. Anyway, there's plenty of time in the future!
So he released his grip on Lin Yuxin, took her hand instead, and said softly:
"Alright! Let's go, I'll escort you back to your residence! We might not be able to hold your coming-of-age ceremony this time since we're going to the North City. Once we return from the North City, I will request an imperial decree to grant you marriage!"
