Ye Nianzhen could not possibly know what was happening in the outside world; she was currently adrift in familiar darkness.
The darkness enveloped her like a thick liquid, making it hard for her to breathe.
But she quickly remembered that this was a nutrient tank, and they were being held inside a hallucination-generating device. She struggled to open her eyes and saw only darkness and the flickering lights of the device.
She tried to see more clearly, but drowsiness overwhelmed her like a tide, and she could only regretfully close her eyes and fall into a deep dream.
When she woke up, the first thing she tried was to call out to the system: "System, are you there?"
She was a little nervous and swallowed hard. The wait felt incredibly long; even though only a second or two had passed, it felt like an eternity.

But he opened his eyes as instructed by the system, and then he saw a pure white space.

She didn't know the specific purpose of the room, but it was clear that she, being locked inside, did not have basic personal freedom.
If the system hadn't told her that Su Mo couldn't control the specifics of the illusion from the outside, Ye Nianzhen would have thought this was Su Mo's childish revenge against her personally.
Seeing that she had investigated enough, the system kindly reminded her, "You're right, pretty much right. This place is indeed used to guard a special group, but not prisoners. In fact... the people being guarded are actually very important."

Before the system could respond, some noises came from somewhere in the room, and three shadows suddenly appeared on one wall. Ye Nianzhen then realized that it was a door!
Ye Nianzhen cautiously stepped back a little, and the door opened quickly. An unidentified object rolled in from the outside. Judging from the material, it should be metal, but the texture was unlike any metal she knew. After rolling in and shaking a few times, it suddenly unfolded and turned into a round little robot!

The little robot took the food out of the compartment, placed it on the tray in its hand, and then put it on a small table that popped out on the other side. After it was ready, it said to Ye Nianzhen, "Come on, please have your meal."
After saying that, it looked at Ye Nianzhen with an encouraging and hopeful expression. Ye Nianzhen felt embarrassed by its gaze, so she slowly walked to the small table, sat on the chair that the little robot had somehow pulled out from the wall, and looked at the food in front of her.
The food didn't look special. Ye Nianzhen tried smelling it, and the smell was normal. She picked it up and took a small bite.
Well... how should I put it? The taste is alright, but the texture is weird, like a toy made of foam or clay, which is very strange.
So she took a few bites and stopped. To her surprise, the little robot was so touched that it set off a firework for her: "You're amazing! You ate two whole bites more than usual today, that's incredible! You're our pride!"
Ye Nianzhen: "..." What's going on? Are they treating her like a kindergarten... no, she's practically an infant, are they trying to coax her like a child in a daycare?
The system chimed in nonchalantly, "Hmm, isn't that right?"
After that, the little robot cleaned up the food and, like coaxing a child, sang to her, told her stories, and then put her to sleep.
She was reaching her breaking point. Once the little robot finally left the room, she questioned the system, "Didn't you say it would explain the situation to me? I'm even more confused now!"
The system then explained properly: "Host, you are not in the human world you are familiar with. Here, you are all special species different from humans, or rather, the evolution of humans! And you are the most special and precious among these people, known as the Healer!"
"Healers have very long lifespans and grow extremely slowly. At your age, you're still a baby!"
Ye Nianzhen: "..." Someone please punch her awake! What kind of world is this?!
