Yeh Nien-chen: "The bold get rich, the timid starve."
Red Team: "Heh, you'd better take it easy."
Ye Nianzhen neither confirmed nor denied it.
Forcing too much energy into a small container can indeed cause the container to explode and result in death.
But she had faith in her team members' physical abilities.
Let alone a level four magic crystal, Ye Nianzhen felt that even a higher level one would be no problem.
Mingyuan's superpower is immeasurable; the fact that he only awakened it after a five-day high fever proves this point.
Ye Nianzhen never understood why the female lead kept Mingyuan by her side, yet treated him as a shadow with a low profile.
She has a powerful support system that makes her incredibly popular, so she should know just how strong Mingyuan's superpowers are.
Is it because she knew that she did this?
She feared that raising a tiger might backfire, and that one day Mingyuan's superpowers might be used against her.
That's incredibly stupid.
How could someone who raises their favorability rating to 99% without any suspicion just because you saved them possibly turn their knife on the person who saved them?
Ye Nianzhen is not afraid.
She trusted her own judgment.

The red team had a very successful harvest and had collected enough magic crystals.
The team continued forward, this time at a much faster pace, and a day later, they saw the exit of the jungle.
Beyond the jungle lay a desolate wilderness, with the surrounding environment laid out before them.
The terrain of the apocalypse is so whimsical, with barren deserts and wildly growing jungles abruptly pieced together.
The explorer climbed a steep slope and estimated that the medium-sized base was about half a day's journey away.
The base is backed by a mountain range, with steep cliffs behind it, making it a place that is easy to defend and difficult to attack.
There is a water source in the mountains, and the base has dug irrigation canals for daily water use.
Strangely, no signs of human activity were observed at the base.
Instead, a few scattered zombies roamed around, posing no threat whatsoever.
"Something might have happened."
The red team ordered the entire team to be on alert, and the group slowly approached the base.
It took some time to clear out the surrounding zombies, and by the time we reached the outskirts of the base, it was already dark.
Ye Nianzhen's expression turned serious.
The foundation was completely destroyed; no wonder zombies were approaching this place.
An even worse possibility—could these zombies be the original inhabitants of the base?
Everything around was eerie, the most obvious being...
There were no bodies.
Mingyuan hit the nail on the head.
The base was basically a ghost town, but there were no traces of blood left on the ground.
Moreover, there were only zombies in the surrounding area, no mutated creatures.
This indicates that a massive zombie horde once passed through this area, and the mutated creatures were either preyed upon or fled at the mere sight of it.
"Go in and investigate, but be on your guard."
The red team sent out members, who scattered throughout the empty base.

Soon a team of people came to report that there were underground defensive fortifications in the center, and there were likely still survivors inside.
The red team led a group of elites in that direction. Ye Nianzhen gave her two teammates a wink, and the three of them followed behind.
The entrance on the ground was very well hidden; it took some effort to find it.
When the hidden door was opened, a burst of arrows shot out from inside, which must have been an internal mechanism.
The arrows were burned to dust by the red team's flames before they could get close to the group, a close call indeed.
The underground passage was dark and damp, the sheet metal supporting the cave was covered in rust, and the air was very stuffy.
Leaving some people outside to provide support, Ye Nianzhen and the others cautiously probed downwards.
The red team still led the charge, with a sharp blade cutting through the air and attacking him silently.
Even he only realized what was happening after the dagger touched his skin, and then quickly leaned back to narrowly avoid it.
The commotion broke through the opponent's magic, and those behind also noticed the attack, but were unable to retaliate due to the narrow passage.
The red team sneered.
Although he didn't know what kind of strange ability it was, his opponent's physical skills were very ordinary, and he was subdued in no time.
Ye Nianzhen, who had anticipated this, stopped him from breaking his legs as a threat.
"stop!"
The red team's neck, where they had been scratched, was soaked in sweat and felt a slight stinging sensation.
"Tsk." He clicked his tongue in annoyance, but still let go of the person.
Mingyuan brought the lighting device closer, illuminating the face of the person who came in.
He was a teenager with messy hair and still very youthful features.
Ye Nianzhen reassured them, "We were passing by when we discovered the incident at the base, which is why we came here."
"Can you lead us to the other survivors?"
The boy found Ye Nianzhen's words somewhat believable, but still glanced warily at the red team.
Ye Nianzhen blocked his view and whispered, "Ignore him, the older sister here is the best."
She winked slyly, successfully gaining the boy's trust.
The boy led the way, passing through a small door that could only allow one person to pass at a time, and arrived at a spacious cave.
It appears to have been reinforced and expanded from a naturally formed cave.
The cave could have held at least a thousand people, but there were very few survivors inside; most of them were lying on the ground, presumably injured.
In the center of the cave stands the only complete "foundation" device, protecting these people from mutated creatures.
Ye Nianzhen couldn't help but worry.
These people all look like ordinary people; only the boy leading the way should possess superpowers.
How will they survive after such a calamity?
How long can the food reserves at the base sustain them?
When the food runs out, how many times can the boy with supernatural abilities manage to go hunting alone?
