Chen Jiayi pushed open the dormitory door with a hint of anticipation.
Upon seeing the people in the dormitory, Chen Jiayi's lips twitched.
Chi Mengqiu was the only one in the dormitory.
When Chi Mengqiu saw Chen Jiayi, a hint of surprise flashed in her eyes, followed by great joy.
"Jiayi, I never expected my roommate to be you!"
Chen Jiayi glanced at the other two empty beds, somewhat puzzled.
"So we've arrived?"
Chi Mengqiu nodded. "Yes, but this dorm room will probably only be occupied by the two of us for a while. We don't need to wait for the other two!"
Chen Jiayi was somewhat surprised.
The dormitory environment is not bad. Are the other two roommates from wealthy families?
Seeing Chen Jiayi's confused expression, Chi Mengqiu smiled.
"Don't you know? The other two roommates are Li Mo and Lin Yuyao."
Originally, Lin Yuyao was assigned to this dormitory, but her qualification was revoked after it was discovered that she had changed her grades.

If only Li Mo hadn't done that, and we were in the same dorm right now, how wonderful that would be?

On the train.
Li Mo stopped crying after she had cried enough.
She wiped her red and swollen eyes and blew her nose.
Immediately, Li Mo realized that only she and the person in the upper bunk were in the sleeper compartment.
The two people in the upper bunk were both men.
She hesitated for a moment, then sat up and grabbed her bag.
The two people upstairs heard the noise, and one of them gave the other a wink.
A strange glint flashed in the other man's eyes, and he then voluntarily climbed down from the upper bunk.
Li Mo saw the person on the upper bunk come down and glanced at them.
The man was dressed in black and wearing a hat when the train entered the tunnel.
Li Mo couldn't see the other person's face clearly, and she suddenly felt uneasy.
She got up silently and left the private room before the man could get out of bed.
After the man got off the bunk, he reached out to grab Li Mo, but after searching the lower bunk, he couldn't find the woman from before.
The man yelled, "Damn it! They've escaped!"
"Jiang Xiaozhi, you good-for-nothing! If I had known you were this useless, I would have done it myself."
How did they manage to slip away like that?
Upon hearing the man's words, Jiang Xiaozhi immediately pouted in grievance.
If she hadn't offended someone, why would she have been unable to get along with her uncle and ended up associating with such shady characters?
But what he was thinking remained unchanged; Jiang Xiaozhi put on a fawning smile.
"Second brother, I'm sorry, it's all my fault. Should we find this girl first?"
The man whom Jiang Xiaozhi called "Second Brother" glared fiercely at Jiang Xiaozhi.
"Are you an idiot? What are you doing following me around, you stupid person? You're useless."
Why bother arresting her when she's already escaped?
The second brother was speechless.
He never thought much of this idiot, if it weren't for...
The second brother paused, then said in a cold voice, "Let's hold back for now. Maybe they just went to the restroom."
Jiang Xiaozhi nodded. "Okay."
After leaving the sleeper compartment, Li Mo began to wander around.
She felt that the two people were a bit strange, especially since one of the men's profiles looked very familiar.
But Li Mo couldn't remember who the other person was. She looked back in a panic and breathed a sigh of relief when she found that no one was chasing after her.
Just as Li Mo breathed a sigh of relief, he heard a low chuckle from the man beside him.
Li Mo looked up in surprise, and his expression changed drastically when he saw Chi Yan's face.
What are you doing here?
Her tone carried a hint of wariness.
Chi Yan raised an eyebrow. "Seriously, little sister? I want to go back to the capital. Isn't this the only way back?"
Upon hearing this, Li Mo looked at Chi Yan with suspicion.
Chi Yan let Li Mo look him over, and after observing for a long time, Li Mo indeed found nothing wrong.
Her expression changed, and she couldn't help but wonder if it was because of her...
Li Mo's tone carried a hint of apology and exhaustion.
"Feel sorry."
Perhaps due to recent mental health issues, Li Mo has been in a state of high tension.

Li Mo had no sympathy for the other half of the participant who had ruined his reputation.
Even if he wasn't someone Lin Yuyao hired, he did cause her harm.
Chi Yan stared intently at the departing figure, without saying another word.
Only after Li Mo disappeared from sight did someone walk out from behind him.
"Young Master, the person has been confirmed to be in that private room."
Chi Yan's eyes turned cold. "Go and keep a close eye on them. Make your move when the opportunity arises!"

Chi Yan couldn't help but sigh, never expecting that there would actually be criminals with criminal records on the train.
