When his classmate returned from eating out, he saw it and spoke in a nonchalant tone.
"Jiayi, are you and Teacher Shen very close?"
Chen Jiayi thought for a moment, "We are indeed very familiar with each other."
The classmate's expression changed; he gritted his teeth, unsure what to say for a moment.
Chen Jiayi didn't notice the changes in her classmate and just kept walking forward on her own.
Seeing that the two had grown quite far apart, the classmate quickly caught up.
"Jiayi, are you hungry? I packed you some of your favorite stir-fry today. I heard this place makes really spicy stir-fry, it'll definitely suit your taste."
Chen Jiayi raised an eyebrow. "Oh?"
She paused, then said, "Thank you for your kindness, but I don't need it."
After saying that, Chen Jiayi walked inside.
The student was left standing alone at the door.
The classmate's expression changed several times before he finally took the things and went to his father's office.
He called out weakly, "Dad..."
Upon seeing this, Zhao Wei was so frightened that he glared at him and then looked around to see if anyone was there.
Zhao Xiaobao was speechless. "Dad, I checked when I came, and there was no one around."
Even though Zhao Wei heard that no one was around, he still carefully observed his surroundings.
They breathed a sigh of relief after confirming that no one was around.
Zhao Wei glared at Zhao Xiaobao.
"How many times have I told you, don't call me 'Dad' at school!"
Seeing his father so wary, Zhao Xiaobao rolled his eyes in annoyance.
"Dad, there's no one around."
"No one can call you that!"
After Zhao Wei finished speaking, his tone softened somewhat.
"How did it go with your plan to pursue Chen Jiayi?"
