Shen Jialiang's fingers paused on the doorknob for a second, and he took a deep breath before turning the doorknob.
Standing outside the door was indeed Song Zhiyan. He was wearing a wrinkled shirt and his face was a little pale, but his face was still handsome. Over the years, he had become more mature and charming.
Shen Jialiang remained indifferent, maintaining the same composed demeanor that Song Zhiyan disliked.
Song Zhiyan smiled and said, "Good morning."
Shen Jialiang nodded slightly.
Song Zhiyan looked past Shen Jialiang's shoulder into the room, a gentle smile appearing on her face.
"Is Jiayi awake?"
Shen Jialiang subtly shifted half a step to the right, blocking Song Zhiyan's view, his tone somewhat cold.
"She went to wash up."
Chen Jiayi just got up, but didn't wash her face or brush her teeth right away.
She went to wash her face and brush her teeth at that moment.
Shen Jialiang and Song Zhiyan locked eyes, an invisible tension filling the air.
Song Zhiyan suddenly spoke, a faint smile playing on her lips.
You got drunk really fast last night.
A cold glint flashed in Shen Jialiang's eyes: "Tsk, I wonder who got drunk faster!"
Song Zhiyan chuckled and was about to say something when Chen Jiayi's voice came from behind.
"You two drank one last drink together last night, and then you both passed out."
Upon hearing Chen Jiayi's words, Shen Jialiang and Song Zhiyan looked embarrassed for a moment.
Both of them thought they had gotten drunk first, but they both passed out at the same time.
Their eyes met briefly, then quickly looked away.
Upon seeing this, Chen Jiayi chuckled softly.
"Teacher Song, have you eaten yet?"
