The girl who was speaking seemed indignant, while the boy next to her scoffed.
"Du Sisi, if you don't want to go out to play after school, you can ask Teacher Song to make it up to you!"

Song Zhiyan hung up the phone, her expression grave.
"Jiayi, something happened at your home."
Chen Jiayi was startled, her mind went blank, and her thoughts were a jumbled mess.

Song Zhiyan paused for a moment, then said, "I'm sorry, Mr. Chen didn't tell me in detail."
He was worried that if he told Chen Jiayi now, she wouldn't be able to accept it.
Chen Jiayi turned pale and quickly turned to leave.
