Xia Wan met Cui Ziqi's gaze, but did not explain; she simply smiled at him.
Cui Ziqi did not ask any questions.
Cui Nan led the two towards the main building of the manor.
Cui Ying stood there, almost clenching her fists to pieces!
She couldn't understand why her usually domineering aunt would be so subservient to Xia Wan, that bitch!
They were even invited to stay for a meal and lodging!
On what grounds?
She glared at the bodyguard and said fiercely:
"Tear down Cui Ziqi's room! I want to see where they'll live if they don't have a room!"
The bodyguards exchanged glances, and one of the bolder ones questioned Cui Ying.
"Miss, Master ordered that that room not be touched..."
*Smack!*
The whip lashed hard across the bodyguard as it flew through the air.
Cui Ying glared at the bodyguard, "Even my dad listens to me! If you don't want to work here anymore, get out of here right now!"
The bodyguards lowered their heads in alarm and walked towards Cui Ziqi's small house in the manor with their tools.

Xia Wan and Cui Ziqi were led into the living room.
In the living room, I met other members of the Cui family, including Cui's grandmother and several cousins whom I had offended before.
When they saw the two men enter, they all looked as if they had seen a ghost.
How did they get in?
Grandma Cui wailed, "Cui Nan! How could you let this beast in? He's a vicious dog that bites!"
She pointed at Cui Ziqi, both afraid and disgusted.
Cui Nan frowned and spoke up for Cui Ziqi.
"Mom, Ziqi is still your grandson, you can't say that about him."
"What grandson? I don't have such a grandson! If it weren't for his slutty mother sleeping with us, would he have been born into the Cui family?"
When Cui Ziqi's mother was mentioned, Cui Ziqi's face immediately darkened.
His suppressed emotions seemed to erupt, and his eyes turned bloodshot.
"You old geezer, say that again!"
