Xia Wan's heart skipped a beat.
She secretly tried to contact the system, but the system did not respond for a long time.
Her gaze fell on the shiny black meteorite, about the size of a fist, with its textured surface.

Yu Jia didn't care about Xia Wan's attitude. He casually twirled the meteorite with his long, slender fingers.
“Yesterday, Cui Ziqi came to me and bought the entire meteorite from our base at a high price.”

Seeing that Xia Wan remained unmoved, Yu Jia was unsure whether she was feigning ignorance or simply unaware that she had become Cui Ziqi's prey.
"Although I don't know what Cui Ziqi wants to do with the meteorite, based on what I know of him, he certainly won't do anything good. Besides, do you know what I went to the Cui family that day?"
Xia Wan knew which day Yu Jia was referring to.
It was the day she and Cui Ziqi left the Cui family and their car brushed past his on the way.
She didn't say anything, and Yu Jia didn't pay any attention.
He continued, "That day, Cui Kai invited me. The Cui family is one of the investors in our base. I thought he had something to discuss with me about the base, but I didn't expect him to ask me to be the bad guy."
Xia Wan had a gut feeling that it was related to her.
Sure enough, he said, "That day, Cui Kai was furious. He said that you and Cui Ziqi left. He originally wanted to drug you and me, pretend that you betrayed Cui Ziqi, and make Cui Ziqi kill you in anger. It's a pity that you didn't stay for dinner."
The Cui family is as shameless as ever.

He placed the meteorite in his hand on the table in front of Xia Wan.

Xia Wan understood; he had been saying all this to find allies.
They said Cui Ziqi's behavior was suspicious, and that the Cui family was very hostile towards her, all in an attempt to make her leave Cui Ziqi and pursue Zheng Minghuai instead.
He's trying to use her as a pawn to drive a wedge between Xia Zhizhi and Zheng Minghuai!
“Mr. Yu, I thought you were a gentleman, but I didn’t expect you to be such a despicable person.”
Yu Jia frowned and looked at Xia Wan, "You know me?"
He hasn't introduced himself to Xia Wan yet, so how does she know his surname is Yu?
Xia Wan remained calm. "Ziqi and I have never had any secrets. What makes you think that you can drive a wedge between him and me with just a few words?"
Yu Jia then realized that Cui Ziqi might have told Xia Wan everything.
This includes the matter of buying meteorites from him.
A cold glint appeared in his eyes.
“Miss Xia, if I may be frank, in my opinion you do not love Cui Ziqi.”
Xia Wan was slightly taken aback.
Yu Jia continued, "I know about your romantic history. You pursued Zheng Minghuai for three years, but almost instantly gave up on him and turned to relentlessly pursue Cui Ziqi. I don't believe that a person's feelings can shift so quickly."
"There are only two reasons: either Cui Ziqi is just a tactic you used to play hard to get with Zheng Minghuai, or..."
Yu Jia paused deliberately, a glint of light flashing in his eyes, as if he could see through all her thoughts.
"You don't like either of them. You're only pursuing them to complete some kind of task."
Xia Wan's brow twitched.
As expected of a top student from the research base, he's incredibly smart and rational!
She pretended to be calm.
"Mr. Yu, do you really enjoy analyzing other people's relationships? Then analyze it for yourself: even if Zheng Minghuai and Xia Zhizhi break up, do you still have a chance?"
Yu Jia's expression darkened.
Xia Wan deliberately poked him in the heart with her words.
"Of course there is no chance. Not to mention that Xia Zhizhi and Zheng Minghuai have been entangled for so many years and will not break up easily, even if they do break up, you will not be able to take their place, because in Xia Zhizhi's heart, you are just a friend."
"I can tell you with absolute certainty that you and Xia Zhizhi will never be together."
Yu Jia's eyes were icy.
Xia Wan pretended not to see it, picked up her bag and got up.

After leaving those words, she left the coffee shop.
Xia Zhizhi was in the car at the door. When she saw Xia Wan come out, she walked up to her.
"Xia Wan, you should leave Cui Ziqi."
Xia Wan thought Xia Zhizhi was sick.
She got angry. "Are you out of your mind? You always have to interfere with whoever I'm pursuing?"
"Xia Wan!" Xia Zhizhi pleaded earnestly, "Cui Ziqi is already so pitiful. You used my identity to deceive him. Don't you feel any remorse at all?"
Xia Wan looked at her teary-eyed, pitiful appearance, as if she had been bullied, and smiled speechlessly.
"I just don't understand, Xia Zhizhi. You and Zheng Minghuai are about to get engaged, and now you're getting involved with Cui Ziqi, whom you used to look down on. Aren't you afraid Zheng Minghuai will be jealous?"
