Xia Wan frowned slightly.
If she wasn't mistaken, these people were just staff members, not the ones who were going to go on stage later.
The person who takes the stage is either extremely vicious or wicked; they would never waste time arguing with her.
A thought struck her, and she forcefully suppressed the fear in her heart.
With her hands behind her back and her spine ramrod straight, her cool face now held an air of domineering arrogance.
"Really? That old bastard Cui Jiyang sent me to watch your boxing match, and I can't even find a single participant?"
The moment the name Cui Jiyang was uttered.
The smiles on the faces of the people standing around the iron cage froze instantly.
They looked Xia Wan up and down.
The blue diamonds on the woman's dress gleamed in the dim light, and like the others on the cruise ship, her eyes held an aloofness and disdain for everything.
This is the standard posture for this type of person.
"Who are you?"
"You think you're so great? Do I need to introduce myself? Go and call Cui Ziqi out here!"
Xia Wan's voice turned cold.
Although the group was dissatisfied with Xia Wan's attitude.
But today, the people on the cruise ships are all influential figures in society and are also their bosses' VIP guests.
They also dared not offend anyone casually.
One of them said, "I'll go call him."
Who are you calling?
Just as the man was about to leave, a cold female voice came from the doorway.
Xia Wan turned her head and saw Cui Ying, who had changed into a red dress and was holding a leather whip, slowly walking down from the doorway.
The crisp sound of high heels clicking on the steps echoed rhythmically throughout the venue.
Xia Wan watched as Cui Ying walked up to her and stopped.
"Miss Cui."
The staff greeted Cui Ying respectfully.
Cui Ying ignored them, her eyes filled with hatred fixed on Xia Wan.
"Xia Wan, you made me lose face just now up there. Tell me, how should I punish you?"
As they spoke, several staff members also realized what was happening.
Xia Wan was simply someone who had a grudge against her own young mistress.
They immediately changed their attitude, instantly gathering around and partially surrounding Xia Wan, their eyes fixed on her as if poisoned.
Xia Wan felt as if she were being pricked by needles.
Yet he maintained his composure, straightened his back, and looked at Cui Ying with a slightly cold gaze.
“Miss Cui, I’ve already been very kind of you by not cutting your mouth with that broken glass.”
She provoked him.
Cui Ying's face darkened. "I think you've really had enough of living!"
She lashed out with her long whip.
The whip has barbs that make a sharp, piercing sound as it slices through the air.
Several staff members instinctively backed away.
Xia Wan narrowed her eyes, and as the whip fell, she raised her hand to grasp the long whip, ignoring the stinging pain of the barbs tearing her skin.
With a flick of her wrist, she looped the long whip around her hand, then pulled hard, sending Cui Ying staggering forward before she could react.
The entire action took less than a second.
By the time Cui Ying realized what was happening, a folding knife with a sharp blade was already at her carotid artery.
The white dress fluttered down, once again covering Xia Wan's black leg straps.
"Then let's see who lives the longest, shall we?"
Xia Wan stood behind Cui Ying, her injured hand tightly gripping the exposed skin on Cui Ying's shoulder.
Warm blood slid down Cui Ying's shoulder and soaked into her clothes.
The knife was pressed tightly against her vital point; she stood stiffly, not daring to breathe.
"Xia...Xia Wan, I don't believe you really dare to kill me!"
"If you dare to do this, why shouldn't I? Besides, isn't this place your Cui family's blood altar? How about I use your blood to consecrate it first?"
Xia Wan moved her hand slightly, and Cui Ying immediately screamed.
"No! Don't kill me!"
Several staff members wanted to step forward when they saw this.
He stopped in his tracks when Xia Wan raised her eyes and glared at him coldly.
Xia Wan realized that Cui Ying only seemed strong on the surface, but when her life was threatened, she became as cowardly as a porcupine!
Fortunately, she had made thorough preparations before boarding the ship; without a handy weapon, she really wouldn't have survived among this group of people.
Are you trying to outdo me in madness?
In the world of novels, who can compare to her!
She smiled and whispered in Cui Ying's ear.
"Can they bring Cui Ziqi out for me now?"
With her fate in her hands, Cui Ying had no choice but to submit.
She yelled at the man standing at the front, "Hurry up and bring that madman out!"
Xia Wan clicked her tongue and pinched Cui Ying's shoulder hard.
"You're the crazy one, your whole family are crazy!"
Cui Ying felt pain in her shoulder and wanted to retort.
Xia Wan pushed the small knife into her throat, and she immediately fell silent.
A short while later, Cui Ziqi emerged from behind the iron cage platform, having changed his clothes.
He was wearing the same white T-shirt and black trousers as in the original book. With his trench coat off, he exuded a less oppressive and ruthless aura and more of a clean, sunny, youthful vibe.
If one ignores the faint bloodstains on his fists and the faint bloodstains seeping from his white T-shirt.
He is the epitome of human ideal.
Seeing this, Xia Wan looked at him with concern, "Were you in a fight inside?"
Did you not know you were injured?
Why are you fighting before you've even stepped onto the stage?
She was slightly distracted and didn't even notice that the strength in her hands had loosened.
Taking advantage of Xia Wan's distraction, Cui Ying reached out, grabbed her wrist, and twisted it hard.
Xia Wan winced in pain, and the knife slipped from her hand.
Cui Ying twisted the long whip around Xia Wan's wrist, the barbs piercing her smooth skin, causing blood to gush out.
