Chapter 24 Touch her, and you die

The two of them chirped softly beside them.

Cui Ying scrambled to her feet, tossing her hair back and forth in a flustered manner, only to find the very person who had kicked her down flirting with someone.

The girl held the man's hand, and the man seemed to resist. The girl hugged the man's arm tightly and whispered sweetly in his ear.

After saying something, the man stopped resisting and just looked down at the girl suspiciously.

The girl smiled like a kitten that had just stolen some cream, and even reached out her paw to rub Cui Ziqi's head.

The next second, the girl received a non-threatening glare from the man.

Cui Ying gritted her teeth.

She was kicked aside and almost fell flat on her face.

The person who did the beating showed absolutely no remorse, and even kissed and fawned over her in front of her, completely disregarding her!

Miss Cui has never been treated with such contempt since she was a child!

She flung away the person supporting her, her face pale as she glared at the two of them.

"Cui Ziqi, you still dare to kick me? Wasn't the punishment last time too lenient?"

The shrill voice reached Xia Wan's ears.

Cui Ziqi didn't react yet, but Xia Wan's face turned cold, and she turned her head to look at Xia Wan.

"You mean, you caused his injuries?"

"What? You want to avenge him?" Cui Ying asked as if she had heard a joke.

"In that case, let's settle both our old and new scores today!"

Cui Ying stood up straight and clapped her hands lightly three times in mid-air.

A burst of applause rang out in the empty hall. After a long silence, three burly men with unsteady gaits emerged from backstage.

They were wearing the same white T-shirts as Cui Ziqi, but unlike Cui Ziqi, their T-shirts were dirty and wrinkled, their exposed skin was covered in bruises, and their faces had redness and bloodstains.

Cui Ziqi glanced indifferently at the few men who were passing by and looking at him tremblingly.

When the men saw Cui Ziqi looking over, they quickly moved to Cui Ying's side.

Xia Wan seemed to remember something and looked up at Cui Ziqi.

"You hit him?"

Cui Ziqi remained silent.

Xia Wan frowned as she looked at the increasingly obvious bloodstains on Cui Ziqi's white T-shirt, and tightened her grip on his arm.

"You fought with your bare hands? How many people were there? You're crazy! You haven't even gone on stage yet, what are you fighting for? And don't you know you're injured? One against many, you're quite capable, aren't you?"

Xia Wan was no longer intimidated by him, and glared fiercely at this man who didn't know how to cherish his own body!

Cui Ziqi frowned and glanced at her, his cold eyes filled with displeasure.

His gaze fell upon her bloodied hand gripping his arm tightly, her wrist torn and bleeding, and his eyes hardened with even more ruthlessness.

“Miss Cui, although we fight in underground boxing, we still have to abide by the rules, right? That madman went in alone, didn’t say a word and just started fighting, and he was fighting like his life depended on it! We haven’t even gotten on stage yet. All twenty of us combined are no match for him. There are still seventeen seriously injured and unconscious people lying inside. There won’t be anyone to fight in the later matches!”

The man with a bruised and swollen face complained to Cui Ying.

Cui Ying's eyes widened, her pupils trembling with terror.

These twenty were boxing experts that the father had painstakingly found, yet Cui Ziqi wiped them all out by himself.

Seeing the look in Cui Ziqi's eyes, his scarlet pupils were faintly visible.

She couldn't help but think of Cui Ziqi in the arena a few days ago, who, with bloodshot eyes, punched the ferocious wolf pack until their brains splattered out!

The crows that had left returned alighted on the branches, greedily watching the flesh and blood flying in mid-air.

Cui Ziqi was full of murderous intent; even as blood and flesh flew past his eyes, he didn't even blink.

Cui Ziqi suddenly bent down and picked up the long whip from the ground.

Before Xia Wan could react to what he was about to do, he yanked his arm away from her hand and strode towards Cui Ying.

"Stop him!"

Cui Ying stared wide-eyed and cried out in surprise.

The three underground boxers immediately moved aside to extricate themselves from the situation.

According to the unwritten rules of the underworld, life is more important than money!

The remaining staff members were very professional and rushed forward immediately to try to stop Cui Ziqi.

Xia Wan's pupils contracted. "Cui Ziqi, you're still injured!"

She took a step forward.

Cui Ziqi moved even faster, clenching her fists and knocking the people who surrounded her to the ground, whimpering, in just a few seconds.

A man collapsed at Xia Wan's feet.

Xia Wan quickly dodged and stepped back.

Cui Ying had already turned and run towards the door.

The moment one foot stepped onto the stairs, a long whip ripped through the air with a piercing screech, and Cui Ying's neck was wrapped in the whip.

The barbs pressed against the soft flesh of her neck, and the next second, the whip snapped shut, the barbs piercing her neck.

Before she could even scream, her body was thrown backward into the air, and a drop of bright red blood traced an arc in mid-air before falling down along with Cui Ying's body as she crashed backward.

Cui Ying landed with blood streaming from her neck.

Cui Ziqi knelt beside her with bloodshot eyes, his face filled with a fierce and malevolent aura, like a black-faced demon from hell.

"Touch her, and you're dead!" The deep voice carried boundless killing intent.

Cui Ying's pupils contracted sharply, and she was about to struggle when Cui Ziqi gripped the sides of the long whip tightly, ready to pull it to both sides.

"Don't!"

Suddenly, a pair of small, blood-stained but warm hands tightly covered the man's bulging, veiny hands, pressing him down forcefully.

"Don't kill anyone, Cui Ziqi, it's not worth it."

Xia Wan's eyes almost welled up with tears.

She was startled by Cui Ziqi's appearance, and her voice trembled slightly.

Cui Ziqi looked up and met Xia Wan's reddened eyes. He gripped the long whip tightly with both hands, his expression becoming increasingly distorted.
