Xia Wan suddenly remembered the dream she had just had.
She dreamed of the scene where Cui Ziqi was buried in the back mountain when he was a child.
The back mountain was desolate, and large raindrops fell. As the thunder and lightning became more frequent, the rain grew heavier and heavier.
Only the little boy's head was visible.
He let the rain pelt his head, without fear or tears.
He tilted his head slightly, his dark eyes devoid of any life, as if he had simply accepted his inevitable death.
Xia Wan felt a sharp pain in her heart, as if something had tugged at it.
She never saw what Cui Ziqi looked like when he was buried in the ground.
Is he just like the boy in her dream, so desperate and so lonely?
"Ziqi".
She opened her mouth slightly and called Cui Ziqi's name in a very soft voice.
He thought he couldn't possibly hear such a sound.
But she saw Cui Ziqi suddenly stop what he was doing and look at her.
Are you hungry?
Xia Wan shook her head.
Cui Ziqi put away his phone, walked up to Xia Wan, squatted down, and placed his hand on her forehead.
It's still a bit hot.
Where does it hurt?
"Dizziness, blurred vision, cold."
Xia Wan answered honestly.
Cui Ziqi turned up the room temperature a bit.
"You just took your medicine. You'll feel better once it takes effect. Go to sleep now."
Xia Wan felt that Cui Ziqi had changed too quickly.
He bit her fiercely outside the boxing gym, begging her not to seduce him, and now he's so considerate and gentle.
I hate it!
But she still couldn't help feeling a sweet sensation in her heart.
"Are you busy? If you're not, come sleep with me. If you are, bring your phone over and we can work in bed."
Cui Ziqi gritted his teeth and lowered his eyes to meet Xia Wan's clear gaze.
If it weren't for the pitiful look on her face, which was flushed red from the fever, he might have thrown her out right now!
