Chapter 77 Crow Mouth Zhen

"Young Master, you are here. Come on, please take a seat."

When Boss Zheng saw Yu Zizhen, he immediately invited her to her favorite window seat.

By coming here and there to show his face, Yu Zizhen is now able to strike up a conversation with Boss Zheng and his family.

She was delicate and pretty, and everything she wore gave off an air of "I'm expensive". Boss Zheng and his family were actually very afraid of her coming at first. After all, someone like her looked either rich or noble. If she was not satisfied with the food, or if other customers were careless enough to offend her, she would get angry and it was very likely that Boss Zheng and his family would not be able to continue their business.

But after she came more often, Boss Zheng and his family no longer thought so.

The truth is, although Yu Zizhen looked like a child from a wealthy family, she did not have the domineering aura of the noblemen.

He is good-looking, loves to smile, is approachable and sweet-spoken. Who can not like such a good child?

What they didn't know was that Yu Zizhen, who seemed particularly well-behaved and cute to them, was actually very sharp-tongued and difficult to deal with in the eyes of some people who didn't get along with her.

Yu Zizhen smiled and sat down by the window. "Give me one serving of braised pork head, one serving of stewed tofu and cabbage, and one serving of mutton noodle soup."

"Okay." The boss agreed and went to look at the two guards following Yu Zizhen.

One of the guards said, "Two bowls of mutton noodle soup."

"Add another portion of braised pork liver." Unlike a whole roast chicken, the amount of braised meat was not enough for her to share with two guards, so Yu Zizhen simply added another portion of braised pork liver.

The two guards knew that Yu Zizhen was deliberately taking care of them, so they all bowed and said, "Thank you, sir."

Yu Zizhen waved her hand. Taking advantage of the fact that it was already mid-afternoon and there were no other customers in the restaurant, she curiously waved over to Boss Zheng's daughter, who was wiping the table, and asked, "Sister, those people who always come to your house to get food, aren't here today?"

Boss Zheng's little daughter subconsciously curled her lips, and only then did she realize that she shouldn't make such an expression in front of Yu Zizhen.

She glanced at Yu Zizhen nervously, and seeing that Yu Zizhen didn't mind her indecency, she nodded cautiously, "They probably won't come here again."

That family has already married off her brother's fiancée, so if she comes to their house again, they won't keep putting up with it. Humph.

The little girl looked indignant, but Yu Zizhen raised his little face and asked innocently, "Are you finally tired of enduring it? Will they hold a grudge against you?"

For ordinary people, food basically accounts for the largest part of their daily expenses. Being able to get free ingredients at Zheng's restaurant, that family must have saved a lot of money during this period. Now that they suddenly lose the advantage, can they be willing to accept it?

Hearing Yu Zizhen's question, the little girl couldn't help but curl her lips again, "Of course they are unwilling to accept this, but our family has nothing to do with theirs now. If they dare to come again, my father and brother will definitely kick them out."

If she were to say, they should have been beaten up long ago. It was her father who always asked them to endure everything as much as possible.

Yu Zizhen propped up his chin, looking thoughtful. "Will they do something bad in secret? I've heard that some people are petty and vindictive. If they have a hard time, they want others to suffer as well."

The little girl glared angrily, as if she couldn't believe that there was such an unreasonable person in the world, but the restaurant owner felt a sinking feeling in his heart at Yu Zizhen's seemingly unintentional words.

That family happened to be exactly the kind that the young master described, the kind that would shift the blame onto others without explanation when they themselves were having a hard time.

Before, they insisted on marrying their daughter into the Zheng family, but he did not agree. They had already held a grudge against his family because of this. This was also the reason why he turned a blind eye and tolerated them stealing things from his store every day.

He was a small businessman who always believed that harmony brings wealth. He always thought that if their family gave away these little things, the other party would gradually calm down, so they would just regard it as spending money to ward off evil, which was no big deal.

But when he thought about how that family wanted this and that every time they came, and how they were so greedy that they almost wanted to clear out all the food in his store, and the vicious looks they got every time they tried to stop them, Boss Zheng suddenly felt uneasy.

Before, he was glad that his eldest son's ex-fiancée married into a good family. At that time, he thought that if the girl married well, their family would no longer hold a grudge against the Zheng family for not wanting to send someone else to serve in the military or to marry the girl.

But now thinking about it, he was too optimistic about this matter.

Perhaps the girl's in-laws' family background is indeed better than their Zheng family's, but the better the other party's conditions are, the more difficult the girl's life will be after she marries him.

After all, if that family really had no problems at all, they wouldn't have fallen to the point of marrying an ordinary girl who had no extra money, no outstanding looks or talents, and most importantly, whose parents and brothers were waiting to take advantage of her husband's family.

Given the character of that family, if the other party had made thorough inquiries, they would have looked down upon such a weird in-law. So why did they ultimately choose to continue with this marriage?

If there is no major hidden secret that cannot be told to outsiders, it must be because they themselves are not easy to deal with and can control that family into obedience.

So the question is: if the family fails to steal the chicken and ends up losing a handful of rice, marrying off their daughter but failing to reap the expected benefits, will they be willing to accept this loss?

If not, then when they can't deal with their new in-laws, will they come back to cause trouble for their former in-laws, the Zheng family?

It was impossible for them to come and eat for free again. After all, that family had no connection with their family anymore. If they came to steal things again, the gossip from the neighbors would make them too embarrassed to go out.

So what will they do to their own family?

Boss Zheng's thoughts drifted away, and even the movement of wiping the table slowed down.

However, before he could figure out what was going on, the young man who always came to his restaurant to eat had already listed all the possible methods the other party might take, like telling a story.

Adding things like rats, insects, and flies to their food is no big deal. But if that family has a vicious heart, they might directly put poison or laxatives in their food. Not only will their reputation be ruined, but in more serious cases, they may even be involved in a lawsuit involving murder.

What about finding a few street thugs to block their house? Even if they don't kill them directly, just crippling them will be enough to make them miserable.

You're so beautiful, little sister. What if they set their sights on you?

Yu Zizhen kept chattering away, and Boss Zheng and his daughter broke out in sweat.
