Chapter 120: Avoiding Winter

But she had always lived in the south and rarely saw snow. In addition, she had always been very afraid of cold, so her grandfather did not agree to let her go to the northern cities to study and work.

She only remembered one time when she was on a business trip with her boss to a northern city. It was snowing when they left, and the snowflakes drifted on the car window, as if inviting her through the glass. Unfortunately, she was in a hurry to get back and didn't get to enjoy it properly.

"Madam, why are you wearing so little? Be careful not to catch a cold. Hurry up and get her a coat..."

There was air conditioning and heating indoors, but a cold wind was blowing outside. Uncle Wang looked at Song Li who was running quickly towards the back garden, and he was very worried. He hurriedly reminded the maid next to him to put on a coat for Song Li.

My wife has been in poor health ever since she fell into an ice pond when she was a child. She is particularly afraid of the cold, and gets so excited when she sees snow that she easily catches a cold.

"No, no, I'm wearing enough." Song Li ran happily into the snow. She was almost wrapped up like a ball in her clothes. Except for her cheeks that felt cold, her whole body was warm.

The cold wind howled, and a thin layer of white ice formed under the eaves of every house. The newly swept road in the back garden was a cold gray. A gust of wind mixed with coldness blew over and hit her exposed face. It was a little cold, but not a big deal.

Song Li, wearing thick gloves, made a snowball and excitedly started a snowball fight with the maid Zhao Xiaohe who followed him.

Among the servants of the Huo family, Zhao Xiaohe has surprisingly become the servant most favored by the mistress except for the housekeeper Uncle Wang, and has almost become the head maid.

Song Li pulled Zhao Xiaohe and several maids together and started a snowball fight excitedly.

After playing for a while, hot steam came out of the tip of her nose and her whole body was hot. Song Li simply took off the thick coat that restricted her movements.

"I'm going to beat you all down today!"

Huo Siyuan heard Song Li's voice from afar, and the corners of his mouth subconsciously raised an arc. When he walked into the back garden, he saw Song Lihao, who had taken off his coat, was hit on the head by an oncoming snowball. His expression immediately turned cold.

When the servants saw him, they froze, especially when they were met with his cold eyes, which made them feel cold to the bones.

Song Li had his back to him and didn't notice the person coming. He shook off the snow from his hair and was about to fight back when a coat with burning body temperature fell over his head.

Song Li subconsciously turned his head and saw Huo Siyuan's somewhat gloomy face. "It's so cold, what are you doing?"

He stretched out his long arm and pulled her into his arms, brushing the snow off her long hair. When his fingertips touched her skin, he felt a chill and his eyes became even uglier.

The servants who had just been playing snowballs with Song Li trembled when they saw his gloomy eyes, and stood there stiffly, not daring to move.

Song Li shook his head: "I'm not cold." It was so fun to play in the snow. This was the best day Song Li had ever had since he came to this world.

"Ali, it's cold outside, stop making trouble and go back to your room..." Huo Siyuan softened his tone, as if coaxing a child.

Because of an incident in his childhood, even with the careful care of his family doctor over the years, Song Li's body is still weaker than normal people. He is especially afraid of cold. Normally, he is fine, but once he catches a cold...

Huo Siyuan's face looked a little ugly, and he subconsciously hugged the person in his arms tightly.

Song Li was forced to go back to her room while playing in the snow. No matter how she protested or even acted coquettishly, Huo Siyuan remained unmoved and even called the family doctor to examine her.

Song Li was speechless. After being forced to drink a large bowl of ginger soup to dispel dampness, he said, "You are making a fuss about nothing. I am not a fragile porcelain doll. I just played in the snow for a while."

Then, while Huo Siyuan wasn't paying attention, he sneaked out to play in the snow.

When Huo Siyuan discovered him, Song Li had already rolled around in the snow for several rounds.

Huo Siyuan: "..."

By the evening, Song Li's throat began to feel dry and he began to cough, and his head felt dizzy and hot.

Only then did Song Li realize how fragile the original owner's body was.

Song Li lay listlessly on the bed, his face flushed and a fever-reducing patch on his forehead.

Huo Siyuan was angry, distressed, and helpless. He sat by the bed, gently pinched her hot face, and fed her hot water with a spoon, "The doctor told you not to go out this winter."

Huo Siyuan knew that his words would not work in front of Song Li, so he directly quoted the doctor's words.

Song Li's throat was also very dry, so he opened his mouth obediently to drink water, and listened to Huo Siyuan's teachings, and was rarely obedient.

"...I've told you so many times not to play in the snow. You're sensitive to the cold, and yet you still wanted to roll around in it. Now you're sick, right? Ali, can't you just be more obedient..."

Perhaps it was because Song Li was so rarely obedient and quiet that Huo Siyuan couldn't help but scold her.

Song Li's head was dizzy. Listening to him talking non-stop, she couldn't help but ask, "Huo Siyuan... your mouth... why is it getting more and more broken?"

The male protagonist's image in front of her has long been shattered, and now all that's left is clinginess and gossip.

Huo Siyuan: "..."

Huo Siyuan was almost pissed off by her. His hands and teeth were itching. Looking at Song Li's disgusted look with a pout, he finally couldn't stand it anymore. He put down his spoon and cup, lowered his head, held her cheek and kissed her hard.

After an unknown amount of time, Song Li not only felt his face getting hot, but his whole body also felt hot and weak. He gasped weakly and couldn't even lift his fingers.

Not sure if it was because of the illness, anger, or shame, but Song Li felt like his head was about to smoke.

"You...you beast, you don't even spare the sick..."
