Chapter 138: Restoring Memory

I am invincible.

Xiao Songli deeply agreed with this.

"But don't worry, I won't hit you. Besides, you're ugly and skinny, so pitiful. I won't bully you. I'm a good kid."

The little boy's face, dirty with dust, twisted for a moment, then he jumped up angrily and rushed towards Xiao Song Li.

He waved his fists fiercely, like an angry wolf cub, growling and baring his teeth.

Xiao Songli lifted her skirt and raised her foot to kick his knee.

However, just as she raised her little foot and before she could kick, there was a "bang" and the little boy who was pounced on her suddenly stepped on a can that rolled out from somewhere. His foot slipped and he fell down, and his nose hit the solid concrete floor. Two lines of blood spurted out of his nose instantly.

Little Song Li: “???”

Could this be what my mother was talking about, the legendary "scam"?

The little boy had been hungry for several days, his stomach was rumbling and he had no strength left. After falling, he could hardly get up.

The little boy was so ashamed and angry that he wanted to die. What was even more difficult for him to accept than the severe pain in his body was the shame.

Little Song Li's innocent voice rang out from above his head, "Oh, I didn't hit you, you fell down by yourself, why are you so stupid?"

This kid is dirty, ugly, fierce, and stupid. When he hits someone, he will fall down and get his face and nose bleeding.

Xiao Songli pursed his lips and pulled the fur of the cat toy.

She didn't like him very much.

"What's your name?" The little boy climbed up, covering his bleeding nose and glaring at her with gritted teeth.

"Do you think I'm stupid? I told you my name and then waited for you to cause trouble for me?"

Little boy: “…”

"Why are you here alone? You could easily be kidnapped by human traffickers, even though you're not good-looking and a bit clumsy," Little Song Li paused for a moment, tilted his head, bit his finger, and said in distress, "Okay, although you're not friendly or likable at all, I'm a kind and good child. Let's just consider it a good deed. I'll help you find the police."

The little boy's face was already dirty, so even though his face was so black that water could be squeezed out of it, Song Li couldn't tell.

He stared at Xiao Songli's jumping back, his dark eyes almost spitting fire.

By the time Xiao Songli ran to find the teacher and called the police, the little boy who had been hiding in the trash can next to the kindergarten entrance had disappeared.
