Unexpectedly, Lu Xingyan chuckled, crossed his arms, and said word by word with a cheeky smile on his face, "I picked this room before. Teacher Meng has chosen this room now. Do you want to share the bed and pillow with me?"
Sleeping in the same bed?
With a bang, Meng Nanxi paused, her face flushed red, she blinked nervously, and stammered, "What did you say? Sleeping...sleeping in the same bed? I didn't see anything of yours here?"
When coming here to choose, Meng Nanxi chose this room and looked around intentionally. She didn't find anything of the male guest, so she chose this room. But she didn't expect what Lu Xingyan was saying?
Was this the room he chose before?
"Yes, I reserved this room a while ago. Look at the suitcase in the cupboard."
Lu Xingyan continued to smile, nodded his head towards the cabinet, and motioned Meng Nanxi to look over there.
She immediately stood up without even closing the suitcase. She stepped over and opened the wardrobe door, and saw a suitcase neatly placed in the space designated for suitcases, with the three big characters "Lu Xingyan" written on it.
After realizing that this was Lu Xingyan's suitcase and the room he had chosen, Meng Nanxi immediately turned around, picked up the unfolded suitcase, and then looked at Lu Xingyan and said:
"Teacher Lu, since you chose this room first, I'll go to another one. Sorry."
After saying that, he picked up his suitcase and prepared to leave, but when he was at the door, Lu Xingyan's hands blocked his way.
Seeing this posture, Meng Nanxi let go of the suitcase, raised her head slightly and looked at him, her eyes full of doubts.
"If you like this room, I'll give it to you. I can live anywhere else."
Lu Xingyan's words were normal, but his eyes were so clear that they couldn't be ignored. It was as if no matter what she said, Lu Xingyan would help her do it as long as Meng Nanxi was happy.
For a moment, Meng Nanxi was stunned.
