The journey to the coronation ceremony was smoother than Zhiyun had imagined.
For her, all she had to do was follow Ralph and enter without having to deal with any formalities.
At the grand coronation ceremony, the new monarch Nirtan, wearing a crown, was surrounded by thousands of people. His wife Kasanna was below, paying tribute to her husband, the new Smantu monarch Nirtan.
When Zhiyun saw Neiltan leaning over and walking towards the throne, he noticed that there was a person wearing a black holy robe standing on the altar.
He held a scepter in his hand and wore a silver mask on his face, looking majestic.
The veil obscured his features, and everyone was in awe of him and could not look directly at him.
Neiltan was actually going to bend over to the man in the black robe!!!
The man in the black robe took the crown and placed it on Neiltan's head.
It was known as the crown passed down through the centuries. Made of pure gold, it weighed over five pounds and was incredibly heavy.
Ralph told her that it weighed 5 pounds. He also said, "The Duchess once told me that this crown was a replica and the real crown was sealed."
"Why?"
Ralph said, "Because the real crown ended with Queen Smantu. When Queen Smantu died, the crown was naturally sealed."
If Ralph hadn't told her, Zhiyun would never have imagined that the crown worn by every successive monarch of Smantu was actually a replica.
Of course, the so-called imitation is just making an identical crown.
Because the original crown was sealed, only identical crowns could be made.
The moment she saw the crown on Neiltan's head, Zhiyun felt that the scene was extremely familiar.
She was slightly startled.
The scene in front of me was suddenly replaced by another one. A woman in a heavy robe was standing at the foot of the altar, being baptized and wearing a crown.
When she took the scepter that symbolized supreme power and was about to turn around, Zhiyun tried hard to see her face clearly.
"Weaving Cloud?"
A voice came from her ear, bringing Zhiyun back to her senses.
It seemed like she was almost able to see the woman's face.
Could it be Queen Smantu?
"Zhiyun, what's wrong with you?" Ralph was worried about her.
I saw that she was staring at one place without blinking.
Zhiyun finally came to her senses and asked hesitantly, "Then do you know the master of Teng Mansion?"
As soon as he finished asking, he saw Ralph's face change, "Zhiyun, you can't mention him."
"I'm just curious, sorry."
Her behavior softened Ralph's heart, and he said to her softly, "It's okay. We don't mention this person because we can't talk about him."
"Why?" Zhiyun glanced at the man in black robes standing on the altar. "Is he the master of Teng Mansion?"
Ralph nodded. "Yes."
But Ralph had never seen the true face of the Lord of the Vine Mansion.
The side that outsiders see is the side of him wearing a black robe and a mask.
Ralph said to her, "Regarding the Lord of the Vine House, I am not very clear about this. My mother, the Duchess, once said that the person in the Vine House is a divine being."
A divine presence...
This description left Zhiyun confused.
How sacred is it?
Isn’t it rumored that the Lord of Teng Mansion is bloodthirsty and cruel?
"So he's here today?" You should know that her purpose today was to see the true appearance of the master of Teng Mansion with her own eyes.
