"Well, there are just two of us, Zhizhi and I."

Zhiyun had seen Zuo Cheng before, and he probably knew the current situation, so he changed the way he addressed her. "Is he cooking in the kitchen?"

Just a casual question.

Zuo Cheng replied, "The master is in the kitchen making your dinner."

"Where is the kitchen?" Zhiyun asked.

Zuo Cheng led the way: "Madam, please follow me this way."

Zhiyun carried the gift she brought for him and followed Zuo Cheng to the kitchen.

After passing a corridor and going around a corner, they arrived at the kitchen. Zuo Cheng gestured, "Madam, the gentleman is inside."

"Thank you," she said politely.

Zuo Cheng bowed and said, "You're welcome, ma'am." Then he turned and left.

Zhiyun walked forward, her high heels making a sound neither light nor heavy as they stepped on the floor.

She stood outside the kitchen, looking at the busy figures inside.

He was not wearing an apron, but was dressed in a simple and elegant outfit. He was tall and straight. His sleeves were rolled up, revealing half of his arms. He was chopping vegetables, his technique not fast, but not unfamiliar.

The sound of high heels stepping on the ground became louder and louder, and Zhiyun made it on purpose.

He turned around when he heard the sound of high heels and said to her, "Zhizhi, wait for me a moment, dinner will be ready soon."

Zhiyun said: "Okay, I'll wait for you."

She came closer to him.

Watch him busy with these ingredients.

While looking at him, Zhiyun was always very quiet and did not disturb him. When she walked, even the sound of her footsteps became involuntarily lighter.

The person in front of me is the master of Teng Mansion...

Zhiyun thought back to the moment when she took off his mask, saw his face, and how he finally admitted his identity: he was the master of Teng Mansion...

For a moment, Zhiyun felt that she was very stupid.

That’s right, very stupid.

Who could have imagined that this man who cooked for her was the bloodthirsty and brutal man in Teng Mansion?!

His real name should be...

The first dish, the second dish, the third dish, the fourth dish, seeing the dishes placed on the side, Zhiyun finally couldn't help but speak, "There are so many dishes, are there only two of us eating?"

He raised his head, glanced over, and answered her in a gentle voice, "Well, it's just Zhizhi and I, two people."

"Are these dishes too much? We can't finish them all, it's a waste."

The next dish to be made is the fifth and sixth dish. By the time they are done, the previous dishes will have become cold.

As she thought about this, Han Qingrang served the last dish of soup, "That's all, this is the last one."

The meals were not eaten in the dining room, and certainly not in the kitchen, but outside in the open air front garden.

The marble table and stone benches, with bowls and chopsticks placed in a very down-to-earth manner, accompanied by a little wine and rice, look very homely.

Han Qingrang came over and took Zhiyun's hand. Zhiyun thought they were going to have dinner together, but he pulled her to the sink. He stood behind her, held her hand, and washed her hands himself.

After washing my hands, I dried them myself.

Then he pulled her out and sat her down, they sat opposite each other, and he picked up some food for her.

"Zhizhi, it's time to eat."

Zhiyun didn't say anything else and started to pick up her chopsticks. He kept picking up food for her, and she ate the food he picked up for her and drank the soup he served her, feeling very comfortable.

The soup is very fresh and the saltiness is just right. Zhiyun likes the taste very much.

"What's the soup base?" she asked, her taste buds greatly satisfied.

Han Qingrang told her, "I've learned how to make corn and pork ribs soup. Does Zhizhi like it?"
