Shen Yue stood up and looked towards the lotus pond with a sigh, "All this is for Yu'er's career and his future."
"Your Majesty has really given so much for the Second Prince." Ruyi said with lowered eyebrows.
The woman chuckled. "It's all worth it."
Bai Yu sat there motionless, looking in the direction where Shen Yue left with empty eyes, then staggered to his feet and walked away.
Bai Jinjin arrived at the Imperial Restaurant, looked at the layout inside, thought for a while, and then turned to go to the Carpenter's Hall.
"I have a big project here. Does anyone want to do it?" The sweet and innocent voice of a young girl sounded in the lobby.
Many carpenters looked up in surprise, and when they saw it was a girl who was only in her teens, they sneered and lowered their heads again.
Seeing this, the girl said, "Hey?" She placed a gold ingot heavily on the table beside her. "See? I really have a big job for you guys."

Ye Jiuge stepped forward and kicked the two men out of the carpenter's shop. "Since we said we would pay you for your work, then each of you will get three ingots of gold after the job is done. If you want it, come forward!"
The carpenters looked at each other and took a step forward. "We'll take this job."
Bai Jinjin nodded in satisfaction. "In that case, let's set the time at twilight hour. You can prepare in the original Imperial Food Hall."
"Who would employ them in a carpenter's shop?" a shrill voice rang out.
Bai Jinjin frowned upon hearing this, covered her ears, and hid behind Ye Jiuge, "Who is this? Who should I hire and listen to your instructions?"
Bai Jinjin couldn't help laughing at the man's pointed and monkey-faced appearance. She had always thought that "pointed and monkey-faced" was an adjective, but she didn't expect it to be true.
